The only think that I can see as a problem is some seams ripping....but I'm sure between all of us there should be a way to figure out how to keep that from happening.

If you can wait until con, Eve, I could crochet you a scarf. It might end up kinda knobby because I occasionally miss stitches, but once I finish my weapon and costume preparations I'll have about half a week of sitting around and doing nothing and just sort of going nuts.

Had a dream last night that my shoes arrived. Then I woke up, and was particularly sad.

Hmmm, perhaps. I will probably need it beforehand, because it's a pretty key part of the costume. But thanks for your offer. If you need something to do with your spare time, you could always make some awesome scarf anyway, heh. I wouldn't turn one down, just probably not for my costume.

ah, well, not everyone....I don't know how to knit either. I've got the opposite, I've got a prop/craft corner of the house devoted to my prop projects haha. That's what I do. Plastic and paint packed into a corner.

Oi, this is the time that the con prep turns into real work! I have to finish untangling the wig and re-assemble the newly washed pieces of the other costume.

Oh, and I have to clean up the apartment so that I can have a good con-gear staging area.

Now then, where's a wrench that can take the seats out of the van...?

There will be garment bags, large props, suitcases and various wig heads stuffed all around us. Methinks we'll have to get in the car laaaaaast. We'll have to leave one little bit next to a door open so we can fit.

I think I'll have to put my sitar on top of the car. Lavi-chan's hammer is going the top of her car, which will be rather fun since then I'll be able to point her out on the freeway.
