Picture Taking Meet ups

Photos Meet up!

Okay everyone likes to do the photo meet up for different Anime’s right!!!

Here are some things to think about before the photo snaping!

This year we will be right next to a really nice park that is great for photos but keep in mind this is not conspace so please be polite and cautious.

USE CROSS WALKS!
Running across the street is dangerous and illegal and will ruin your costume if you get hit.

Buddy system works great for safety and photo taking  =^.^= when out side of the con space.

In conspace please try to not block hall ways for your photo taking remember that most people walk through common areas so wait and snap your photos there!

After the Chibi room closes it will be turned into a photo room so you can always wait till then!  Plus there will be a photographer taking official photos for the con so you can be apart of the action at Kumoricon!

So remember Be SAFE and Be POLITE!

Great suggestions! Good tip: make full use of your surroundings (awesome parks, structures, etc.) but never act inconsiderately. Always keep your head about you. ^_^

Yeah the don't block the hall way one is good. There was one hall in particular at Sakuracon that was always crowded because people were always taking photos right in the middle of it x.x I will admit I was one of them sometimes (but only when there was already a huge group). And I am going to try to stay out of others way when taking photos ^_^

Good tips, I'd hate to not be able to go down a hallway because of people taking pictures,  :P

And I think it's kinda funny about your costume getting ruined if you get hit. Wouldn't it be a little worse then that? XD

So true!
I have 2 good tips:
A good photo consists of your surroundings as well as you're pose!
When going outside, mind the people around you. Don't start going crazy, you might scare people. o_O Keep calm and go about your business.

Safety tip:
When being asked by a photographer to go somewhere else for a good photo, always bring someone with you!
You may also refuse at anytime! And try not to go to far! We all care about you too!

We don't want you to get kidnapped x.x That would ruin your weekend.

Yes....having a kidnapped Conster would most assuredly ruin everyone's weekend. No going with strangers, and if you have to go somewhere strange, don't go alone. Use the buddy system! ^_^

The buddy system is always a good idea. If you can't do that you should at the very least tell someone where you are going and how long it should take so they will have an idea if something is going wrong

Is it spendy for an official photographer to snap shots of you?
Hhhmmm and the chibi room confuses me, as well.

the photographers don't charge anything. If you want to get prints of the picture then they will but usually they just put the pictures up on the internet. At least that is what I have ran into at cons. I have never payed anything to get my picture taken.

Now if you want to have a private shoot you might be looking at paying but I don't know.

Hia,  The prints are going to be 4x6 so you can fit them into scrap books and photo albums and they are the cheapest for everyone to enjoy!!!
