Just to let you know, the AMV Contest has 2 (or 3) more prizes below, AND there will be an AMV Iron Chef type of competition. (Chekin in the morning of the 1st day, and  'show us what you got' about 32 hours later.

i hope there will be a naruto or bleach console game tournament added...I can't imagine a con without one. I must be prepared this time for the ramen firebowl tourny.  Last year I ate a footlong sub from subway before attending the ramen firebowl tourny (man, that was the worst possible thing to do). of course at that time I didn't know what it was.  Basically, u try to gulp down a bowl of superhot ramen as fast as possible.  If you score the fastest time in your group you move on to the next round.

Cosplay costume and skit are the contests; the awards vary depending upon number and "type" of participants and judges' whim (Meaning judges reserve the right to invent a new category/prize if the situation merits it - and we can call the prizes what we want rather than using the official category names...).

We have several categories of entries: group and individual costumes at Novice, Journeyman and Master levels and skits at Novice, Journeyman and Master levels (though if there are no entrants in a particular level, that level will not have an award -duh).  And each of those levels can be divided into Child ("chibi") division, Youth division and Adult division (again depending upon the distribution of entrants).

Plus, we will award a "Best in Show" prize for best skit of all the ones we saw that evening.

Additional prizes will also be awarded at the Judges' discretion. 

You can either make art onsite, or submit work you have done before hand.  We will have art supplies for your use, including Copic Markers.  Entries will be taken until sunday night, and winners will be announced on Monday morning.  I have a time on Saturday morning set-aside for announcing the full rules and taking questions on the art contests.  But the rules will be posted throughout the convention, and I will probably be there most of the weekend. [= 

There will also be various programming in the Creation Station rooms that will have Art components in them, such as 'Scenes from a Hat' and 'Exquisite Corpse'.

If possible, Anime Jeopardy should be added to this Master List of Contests, please.

And on that note, probably the Family Feud game as well (unless it is scripted, haven't heard much on it).
