...and it wasn't that bad, actually. (I know, blasphemy, right?) I had a couple different flavors, I think green tea and banana, but it was pretty tasty. The only downside was the chocolate bread-stick, but everything else was pretty dang tasty.

Fran isn't an enemy of Pocky. They're a different company sure but they make sure not to pretend to be Pocky. Fran has always been distinctive for their larger size and double-coating technique. Fran always has a thick yogurt coating for texture and a more colorful outer coating for flavor. Fran cost more but have much more intense flavors. They are bigger but you do not get very many.

Not really a snack with as much appeal or variety as Pocky.
No harm, no foul!

Now if you start eating Peperro or Chocky.....

Ah, good to know. I wasn't clear on the companies and ownerships. I'll be sure to steer clear of those other brands, haha.

Sugarlat, the Marron and Blueberry are related because they both have "pencil boxes". Boxes that are perforated to be opend at the side instead of at the top. That's an inovation I first saw in a lemon Fran box btw!
Also, for those of you unfamiliar with the flavor, Marron is kind of like chestnuts.

I've never had Fran but the Orange dessert Pocky sounds Yummy.

of course the trick to buying (with anything but ESPECIALLY with these types of things is location). In clackamas for example pocky costs twice as much (for less) in fye than right across the street in worlds market. Worlds market tends to be pretty cheap though (and that is why i smile)
