2008 Kumoricon Art Show

This year, we are bringing back the Art Show. This is a separate event from Artist's Alley.  You do not have to a part of Artist Alley to participate, and being in Artist Alley does not exclude you from participating in the Art Show.

Artists will be able to display up to 10 pieces, or whatever will fit in a 4'x4' space.  Attendees will be able to bid on the items, and if an item receives 4 or more bids, it will auctioned off Monday morning.  Artist's will also be able to set a "Buy It Now" price, where if there are no bids on the piece, an attendee can purchase it for that price.

Registration forms can be submitted online, or mailed in.  If you are signing up online, you will have one week to submit your payment (via snail mail or in person).

What content can we put into the pictures? Original Characters, fanart from anime/manga, video game characters, original universes.....is there a limit besides the adult content, as to what we can enter?

The main requirement for submission is that is in the style of Japanese culture, so that include manga/anime/video games.  Fanart is definitely allowed, as are original characters/universes.  Your only limit, other than adult content, is how much you can submit - each registration allows you 10 pieces, or what fits in a 4x4 space.

Another thing we will be offering is Print Shop - artists will be allowed to sell prints of their work in the room.  If this is something you are interested in, PM me for more information.
