July 19th Pre-Meeting Luncheon

No big plan really, I just thought it would be better to discuss lunch in this section so we don't spam the actual meeting thread. I want to have a chance to gab and gossip with you all because some of you (like Negima) have been out of town for awhile and the rest have some good stuff to gossip!

Who wants to meet up and get lunch before the general meeting on Saturday? I figure that the Lloyd Center food court is old hat (and the sunshine melts the Pocky!) so we should go to one of the other restaurants north of the mall.

I figured that we could meet at the hotel around 11:00 AM. Or maybe we can pick a restaurant before that if we can all agree.

Sushi was mentioned but I can't have seafood so... sorry but no. Maybe I can get a sandwich somewhere if that's what you all want.

Heh, yeah.
I think since we have to come back to the hotel for the meeting anyways, perhaps meeting at the hotel and then heading to a restaraunt would be good. I would suggest something, but I dunno what is really out there. I am game for anything.

how about red robin? or were we thinking fast food restorant like quiznos?, there is an apple b's over that area but i have recived awesomly bad service there before,
and i second for the no on sushi

I would like to second Red Robin. There is a large enough selection that I think everyone's likes could be satisfied.....

Red Robin sounds good to me, we should probably call in a reservation just in case. It will be right around lunch time on a weekend near the convention center.

How do you guys feel about meeting up at Red Robin at 11? That way we will have time to order and time for them to mess our orders up. I hate to have to eat fast and I eat super slow when I'm chatting. Just ask anyone who's seen me at a Pocky Club meeting.

Um, fast thinking there, Tom. Couldn't hurt to call and reserve if we can. Though having a head count of how many people might be handy.

I'm going to make a reservation for 6 people and hopefully we can add more if needed.
