NEW THREAD.

WE NEED TO MEETUP AND KNOW HOW FAR YOU ARE ON YOUR COSTUMES.
(percentage please etc.etc. and what needs to be done)

Unless otherwise, we are all going to meet at the con.

Just need to do the shirt and look for my necklace that I made eons ago, otherwise no necklace for me DX

I have to make my costume after I get back from camp.
Hopefully I'll get the shoes for it before then, but I know I can get something at Goodwill easily and whenever. I have the hat to use, just need to add the pink to it. The toughest part will be making the dress.

90%. I don't think I'll ever find shoes as tacky and odd as Chihiro's XD. I do have the shorts and a shirt which I need to put stripes on. I'm not much concerned about shoes because she usually runs around barefoot. Once I put stripes on the shirt I'm done though.

Well they might not let you run around barefoot. I do have some Jungle shoes from Dance team if you'd like. IF I can find them that is XD

All I need is shoes, and my costume is finished!!
It's not perfect, but it's probably a one-time deal (because I'm getting my hair cut) and so it's okay.
My dress isn't exactly like Sophie's in regard to color and style. The color is dark green, so I like to think of it as a mix of her green and blue dresses. There's also no fancy top area stuff and no high collar.
The dress is one that my mom used to wear. Hooray for closet (er... box?) cosplay!?
Even though the dress isn't perfect, there's enough other stuff like the hat and the apron to distract from it, so I will be recognizable.
It's amazing that I got this costume in so little time. o.o
