Hosted by some of the former Gil People, come dressed as your own original random Turk and be bossed around by superiors. There will be games, prizes, photo opportunities, and general shenanigans. Also, we will be announcing the winners to our Original Turk Background Contest. (See below) So come support your favorite world dominating power company, and lets show those bastards what it means to be a Turk!

Original Turk Background Contest
Here at Turkish Grounds, we realize that everyone wants to be a Turk, so we figured… why not give fans an outlet for their original ideas and reward them with stuff. Everyone loves stuff right? So, the members of Turkish Grounds have decided to throw a Original Turk Background Contest. Come up with your own unique idea for a Turk based character and fill out the application below. Over the next several months, we will read your entries and select the best three characters, which will be announced at the Turkish Grounds Shinra Turk Recruitment Bonanza. We will be judging the applications on :
*Quality of writing
*Character depth
*Originality and creativity
*Realism
Please limit your writing to two pages as we want to make sure to get through every entry. Also, please only include one image. We want to hear all your stories, but we wont have time to read a novel. Also, please limit yourself to one entry per person.

Physical appearance: What does your character look like? Describe hair style, length, and what the character usually wears. Make sure to put if they have any scars, tattoos, glasses or anything else that other characters would notice right off the bat. We will also accept drawn caricatures and cosplay photos, but please… still write out your description.
Personality: Who is your character? What do they do? What do they like? How do they get along with other people? Please go into as much detail as possible as this is the core of your character. If you wish, please list your characters strengths and weaknesses.
History: What is your characters background? Please stick to important life changing events. More is better… but we don’t want to read a novel.
Weapon: What weapon and/or special abilities does your character have.
What we are looking for:
Quality of writing… not a big thing but please reduce our headaches and use spell check.
Character depth is very important.
Originality and creativity a must.
Be realistic… damn it
