Putting things in Swag Bags
« on: July 29, 2008, 04:03:14 pm »
Hello!  I was wondering who to get in contact with in order to get some stuff put into the swag bags for KumoriCon.  We were told by a staff member at this years inaugural meeting that KumoriCon would like to have our stuff in those bags and we recently received our order of 5000 and have nowhere to put them. After emailing a few staff members about this among other things and zero response I was hoping somebody here could point me in the right direction. We run a store and gallery downtown, near Powell's book store called Moshi Moshi where we sell Japanese designer items, clothing, vinyl figures, and vintage toys.  We also have art shows each month. We even planned an "art of Japanese animation" exhibition for August/September to coincide with KumoriCon!

publicity@kumoricon.org, vicechair@kumoricon.org those two are your best bets. We would LOVE to have things to put in the swag bags. I am so sorry someone hasn't gotten back to you sooner!!

I've been to your store a few times! And I have an orange little button (it's soooo cute ^_~). You're stuff would be great!

That is what I thought too, but I already emailed both of those and no response. My work phone number is 503-227-8253 if anybody that can actually help with this feels like giving me a call.

Last year, the swag bag stuffing happened during one of the meetings.  It was fun
