I think that some time during the con we should have a Voodoo Donuts run! I've never been there before but they sound delightful! So, what say everyone else? :3

I think that when we do this isn't too important, we could probably even wait till the schedules come out to plan the exact date. I just feel that some sort of trip to the magical land of donuts is imperitive >=D

Voodoo Too is six blocks from the hotel, on this side of the river. It's slightly less creepy than the original, but the donuts are just as good. And no, no ATMs. Bring money from the mall or your bank.

i dunno im a type of person who loves MEAT but i have tried tofu bacon and its pretty good in itself, also i hear their fritters are pretty awesome

There's actually an ATM in Voodoo Donut.

And I agree with Nikkiolie that Voodoo is a bit farther than I'd want to go during Kumoricon. But if there is a trip planned some other time, I'd be down with going. I can never get enough Voodoo Donut. Try their Peach Fritters!!! They will blow your mind out your armpit!

Voodoo Donuts always has a long line to it, though. So if you're willing to stand around for 15 minutes +. Although, I'm sure they're worth it.
I've been there once during Halloween.

WE NEED TO DRAW A DISTINCTION HERE: THERE ARE TWO VOODOO DONUT SHOPS. There is one on each side of the river. We will be attending the one on the east side. This one is not in downtown Portland.

Actually, I've never had to wait in line at voodoo donuts. I went there at 11:00 am though.

I've been there twice to the downtown one. Halloween wasn't too bad, but during the FlugTog, it was horrible.

I was at Llyod Center today, and we took the max/bus (since the bridge's closed) down toward VooDoo donuts. It took about 15 minutes to get there from the max stop in front of the Double Tree.

That's not nearly as bad as I imagined, and even better considering the whole bridge out ordeal. If I went to any VD, it'd probably be the Burnside one just because I have been there so often, while I've never been to Voodoo 2 yet.
