my mom love the idea about the maid cafe theme and well we need help with a name we need to draw every one in cosaply, anime fan, manga fans, video game fans, nolmal peoepl, high schoolers, mid school, pearents, greand perants, every one

and if you wanted to have a variety for both male and female attendees you could even make it a Maid & Butler Cafe =3

Kumori Bakery (lol yea a convention rip off but the name makes sense in portland)

I worked with food as well (just a few months ago) so I have experience with the department as well.

Hmmm I was thinking Honey&Milk Delight (but that just sounds weird I guess)

Well pastel colors are always nice, but you don't want to go overboard and make it look like a nursey room.
If you want, you could do a French design, such as this:

or if you would like a B/W scheme/victorian, maybe something along the lines of this:

Don't forget guys, that the term 'Otaku' is not a good thing to be called. I know America assumes that it's good, but it really isn't. You don't want tourists sneering at the business.

I actually asked my mom and she said that she'd let me work there.
I'd be able to work everyday until school starts on the 2nd but then I'd be able to work the weekends and or after school ^_^

The really light pastel colors would probably go nicely with the autmosphere, considering that it would be a cute place to begin with, you wouldn't want dark colors.

Since you're going for all-over appeal, I caution against using anything too nich-y, like Otaku Bakery, since it might turn people not "in the know" away. I suck at coming up with titles...but yeah, I recommend something everyone will think sounds cute and inviting.

Color-wise, it seems like a lot of white/cream/like pink is in order, maybe with accents of green or blue? I tend to like pastel colors myself, but you don't want to go overboard...

hay every one what do u thing of a funraser to get money for stuff to remake the bakery and maid outfit cuse my mom want to do it but she dost want to pay all the money to paint and stuff and get the maid outfits witch are like 85-100

We could go to local businesses around lunch and do our bake sale that way, because you know most people drive by them without a thought, but this way we could show them that we care : 3 Does that make sense?

IDEAS???
° Go to local business and hand them a card
° Have Bake Sales/go to businesses during lunch and sell etc.
° Asking businesses if they would like to sponsor the Bakery etc.

SEASONAL FUNDRAISERS?
° Spring - Plant things...?
° Summer - Wash Cars...? Lemonade Stands?
° Fall - Raking leaves...?
° Winter - Shoveling snow...?
