Too much good stuff at KCon!

I was thinking about the impending awesome of KCon and I started to wonder if I'd be able to do all that I wanted to. In my fratic state I ended up making a list of all the events that cater to my fangirl heart and it ended up looking like this:

And the sad part is that I probably forgot a ton of things. ^_^, So how is everyone fairing against the onslaught of things to do at KCon? What activities are you all looking forward to the most?

I'm waiting for a schedule to hopefully come out so I know how I can fit everything in. but yeah I do have quite a few events I want to do.

Well, I honestly don't know much of what to expect. Once I get the schedule then I will fret over what I am going to have to miss or sacrifice for something else and yadda yadda. heh

Of what I know, though, I am really looking forward to:
- The Final Fantasy Photo Shoot
- The Forum Meet-Up Panel
- The RPG Photo Shoot
- The Anime Hunters Panel (I'm pretty sure they are doing on again.)

Yeah, I'm forgetting a lot, I know, but that's okay, heh. The schedule will help me.

I know there is so much to do. But I want to spend most of my time walking the halls getting pictures and getting my picture taken ^_^

^ Totally. That is actually one of my top three aspects of Kumoricon. I work hard on my cosplays and just walking around in them is the best way to "show them off", so to speak, heh. I interact more in the hallways and general conspace than in any panels or real events, heh.

All my friends are always complaining that they want to do something and I am like "we are doing something, were look at the costumes"

Every year I feel like I never get enough pictures, so this year I will fill my memory card or die trying, lol. I've got 2gb of space to fill, so I need to be snapping shots like a madman. I never get more than 40 even though I see thousands of things and costumes and people that I am amazed by. That must change this year.

I am going to try to get close to filling my card each day then when I get home load them on to my computer and delete them off the card for the next day

Oooh that's a good plan. I challenge you! Let's see who can get the most photos (that count, lol). You with your plan, or me with my one 2gb memory card. This could be a fun little game, heh (and the only way for me to combat the person who totally is kicking my butt at post counts on here haha).

Well it isn't exactly fair now is it. My card holds 256 mb so in three days I wont be able to get enough pictures to even match your 2 gb. I may just have to use my parents 1 gb XD

I bought my digital camera right before Kumoricon last year, because only having a disposable camera the year before SUCKED.  I had a 2gb card and took close to 300 pics, and didn't even fill it up.

This year I have a nearly empty 4gb card.

I may take like, a thousand photos. 

But yeah, the seeing and showing off of cosplay is my favorite aspect of Kumoricon, panels & events be damned. 
It will be nice when we get the events schedule though. ^^;

Ohh, don't be!  I think most cosplayers are more than happy to have you snap their pics!  The first year I went I was like that though.  Too shy to talk to almost anyone.

and that's okay. 

Although being a bit shy is good too.  Glomping without consent?  Can be scary.  D:

I pretty much seem to do things at the spur of the moment too.  I'm mostly looking forward to the schedule because a couple of my co-workers want to attend for one day, and I want to let them know which will be the best day to go.  I'm thinking the second day, but someone told me the first is probably better.  I dunno...

I am really looking forward to k-con this year.  Being staff I know there are times when I will be needed to help do stuff for the con, however I have a new and pretty elaborate costume for this year and I am really looking forward to having my photo taken with my cosplay group.  If you see me PLEASE take my picture.  I always get sad when I walk around and no omne wants a photo <3

Did SAS at Sakuracon (yojimbo) this last year, and wandering around was one of the best things to do. Its fun to see all the folks and the work they do, get admired, get pictures, and meet new and old friends again.

Saturday's obviously my busy day. My plans for it came together in about five minutes; there were hardly any major conflicts, and there were tons of appealing events.

Sunday...not so much. In fact, the only event I'm really looking forward to on that day is the Hentai panel. Sucks that there's not a lot of interesting stuff going on during the cosplay contest. But that will give me time to wander the halls, take pictures, hopefully get my picture taken a few times, ext. It'll be more relaxed, but I'm sure there'll be lots of stuff to keep occupied with.

Monday's pretty straight-forward. I've never been to Cosplay Chess before, and I've always wanted to go, so there's that. My only regret is that I'll miss the charity auction.

Let me tell you: 18+ panels are the single most not-overrated thing in the world. The only reasons I was excited when I turned 18 was because I knew I could buy doujinshi and attend 18+ panels. So far, I've only been 18 for Sakuracon. But it only would have been half as fun if I had been under 18.

...Sorry if that multiplied your jealousy. But you definitely have something to look forward to.

...Ouch. I've been there, though. Just hang in there, pretend the panels don't exist, and try to hold in the tears that will inevitably occur when such panels are happpening.

Oh, wow... You see, you youngsters have all sorts of advantages we veterans didn't have back in the day. Back in, oh, 2006, they'd kick you out of the viewing booths in the middle of an episode of Gankutsuou at midnight, sharp!

The extension on curfew only applies to the dances, if you want to leave the dance you need to go up to the hotel rooms.
