Something with high concentrations of mint. Metromint water (can be found at Fred Meyer and New Seasons), the cough drops you find in the dark blue bag, chicken broth.

Just so everyone knows, the whole "kissing disease," is a misnomer and mono can be contracted from touching something someone coughed on and wiping your mouth or eyes, being coughed on and even sweat to sweat contact.

You should rest up and save your energy for the next con, so we all don't get sick, either!

man today i feel soo much better comparitivly.... yeah don't care about spelling.
my stuffy nose is going away.
due to having a mask i may be all lolita-ish-like...

yeah to the dude-ish person whose all don't come to con wait til next. thats a little harsh with the proper percautions everyone will be fine.

swallowing is getting better so less drool. haha the past 4 days atleast was alot of drool. haha

when i read the thingy from the doctor the extremely swollen sore throat only lasts about 3 weeks soo the pain is finally going away.

i also slept most of the night for the first time

Thanks for calling me "dude-ish," despite the obvious female username and picture. I don't believe it's harsh to not want to contract an illness that had me bedridden once before for 3 months and caused epstein bar for several years.

I'm letting people know that hugging you might not be the best idea because sweat to sweat contact can also transfer the virus. People should be full aware of what can and can't make them sick, not just popular belief.

I don't really hug people....I just take pictures so I should be fine. I'll make sure I wash my hands every time I go into the bathroom though......just to be safe ^_^

Actually Mistress, you are misinformed. I've done my own research on webMD, wikipedia, and my FIL's medical journals (he was a doctor) and it cannot be passed through sweat. Strictly saliva. Besides, I don't see what your problem is, because once you get the disease, your body builds up an immunity to it and you cannot get it again, despite you having had the Epstein-Barr form of it. She has every right to attend, illness or not. You making statements like this is a form of discrimination. Should we bar anyone who has a communicable disease such as a head cold? I think not. As long as people take proper precautions to prevent transmission as much as possible, I say leave them be.

*does a dance* i'm not on drugs. dewt dewt de dewt. last i took tylonal was aaaattt 8 or 9 pm look at me i'm surviving. i woke up at 6:30am like normal but thats because i got in habbit of watching an 1hr 1/2 of angel. then i went back to sleep at 8. 8:30 mon called sad jesse mccartney was singing on channel 8. so i watched that then slept til like 11:30 to noon then showered. i've had 3 popsicles wooo.

i may have to take pills later but thats because ppl are coming over and i'll need that extra stamina. but wooo. feeling better!
i say food tomorrow i'm going to orange julius ordering a hotdog and a large strawberry banana julius. yummmmm..

yeah my throat still killing me.
