Well, I'll attempt to join again. I'm Wedding-dress Yuna, so I have NO CLUE how to work that out. The train itself is nearly ten feet!

Excellent job today with the Leeroy costume btw. Sakura felt a tad bit intimidated, lol. I will totally be back again next year. Heck, why not make it a tradition ^.^

Well, I know that I HAVE to be in chess as KOS-MOS in two years. I mean, come on. I plan on epi.3 post-rebuild KOS-MOS from Xenosaga. With every single weapon she has. And each is the size of a person. I wanna be her in chess just to use her lines from the battles. Dead = "Shutting down" + falling directly backwards. Kill = "My external appearance is down 5%. Shion, I need to be cleaned."

Perhaps a good VS bad showdown is in order next year? I would love to see more D.Gray-Man characters get involved. If I could be Jasdebi and face off against an Arystar Krory it would be like seeing artbook Can Nightlord fight artbook Abel Nightroad... Just with a slight bit of lacking bling.

Or you could summon an aeon if we can find a friend to cosplay that. Shiva or Valefor wouldn't be too hard.

cosplay chess was fun (I was Yuki) although I dunno how epic it was... I was actually reading the whole time I was on the board, so I hope I didn't miss anything too hilarious. I might do it again next year, but I dunno if I want to spend the whole day in one room again. It was fun, but I'm not sure if it would be as fun the second time around. Just like glomp circle was fun the first year (07), but now I'm all glomped out and can't stand it. Cosplay chess might be the same way... I guess time will tell...

Mitsukai Mizu Amaya- if you do Yuna, you should definitely summon an Aeon. I've been planning a valefor costume for quite some time, but haven't really gotten around to it. I'd be happy to be your special attack, though...

Cosplay chess was the only big event happening during Monday which was kind of depressing -_-
I was bored for the rest of the time besides clean up which was fun to an extent.

I got the suggestion from Patrick or Tanis and I told her, she thought It was a great idea I think o-o

That wold be amazing. Valefor or Bahamut would be the best for Yuna to summon, because out of all of them, those two seem to be the most important. BTW...

Go look up the FMA fangame created by a bunch of CHINESE GENIUSES. In the most common ending, Edward is turned into a Homunculus by 'Father'. He is given the name Pride. Thus, the Pride!Ed bit in my sig, about cosplaying him if I can. ^^

Hmmm, either White Mage Yuna or Orihime for cosplay chess. Probably Orihime, though, 'cause I don't think I can beat Wedding Dress Yuna. xD Plus, I wouldn't have any aeons/Tidusi.

I'll so enter chess this year! Not sure who I will be yet though >.> I got a few cosplay options for it.

and did you guys take into concideration my idea to have four teams this year and make it a mini tournament and have the losers duke it out for third so that way everyone gets a good shot at playing and if they are taken out first move they will play in another game at least.

If all goes according to plan, I'll be signing up for cosplay chess next year. Not entirely sure what costume I'll have by con-time, but it's still quite early. Bouncing some ideas around... It probably depends on whether my sister can make it to the con again or not.

An idea for teams might be to have a team for video game characters, a game for purely manga characters (so, manga for which there is no anime or characters that only appear in the manga), and a team for anime characters (rare to find anime without a manga, but maybe filler characters or something?). Just tossing an idea out there.

I saw my friend/teacher pin up her wedding dress at her wedding. I'll probably do the same to the train to keep it up during the match and the masquerade ball. My friend decided she wanted to be Shiva. If you all remember Garnet's Pikachu summon, it'll be the same person.

Well, you are one of the piece of chess, and you just move to the places that the 'chess master' tells you. And when you 'attack' the opposite player's piece, than you give a small fighting scene and then it continues from there!

It sounds like so much fun; however, I’m not quite sure if I would be able to do much. Not to mention the character I am plotting to cosplay as has a more contactless way of destroying her enemies.

I’ve never actually seen cosplay chess before.
