What were some of your favorite cosplays at this year's con?
Whether it was the complexity of their costume, a favorite character of yours, being extremely in character...etc.

I loved the nurses from Silent Hill -
they were completely in character (the way they walked),
and adorable in a strange sort of way. lol

Oh! The Mewtwo cosplayer! Maaainly because s/he gave me a hug, but still! That was rad. And Davy Jones! That costume turned out RIDICULOUSLY well. Aaand the whole Gurren Lagann brigade, of course! That's all I can immediately recall...

More!: Ganondorf, Lil Shinji, and Old Gregg.

The Kratos was amazing, mainly because it was Kratos! Everything about that costume was top knotch.

Also the Mewtwo, it was absolutely adorable in it's menacing cuteness, lol.

And as always the Alexander Armstrong was impressive and amazingly done.

And the L who did "L's Nightmare", she was the best L I've ever seen. Totally in character all weekend.

I've turned into a sucker for The World Ends With You/It's a Wonderful World cosplayers. I gave myself a mission to take photos of every single cosplayer from that game that I ran into. I think the whole cast of the protagonists were represented in cosplay.

... >_>; And I think I wound-up taking two photos of Hanekoma - one with her alone, one with her paired-up with a Beat and Rhyme. I apologize to that Hanekoma for the trouble.

Also, I loved seeing how many Tales-of cosplayers that there were this year. There was a particularly-awesome Lloyd that my friends and I saw at Lloyd Center*. Figures that after my friends and I decide to not wear our Tales of the Abyss outfits at Kumoricon after wearing them to Sakuracon and Kumoricon of last year, we see throngs of Tales cosplayers that we could've partied with. ;_; And there was a guy cosplaying as Jade - with matching hair! I'm zetta-jealous of him.

I was surprised to see a Tales of Rebirth cosplayer, though. o_o

Heh, the one guy cosplaying Jade was my boyfriend, he'll be at Sakuracon as Jade as well and I'll be Nebilim. I was Anise this year. You should totally bring your ToA cosplays to Sakuracon.

My favorites were everyone from Tales of ___, Kratos, the Guilty Gear people, the Count, and of course the .hack people. I feel bad we didn't finish Subaru and Tsukasa.

I loved the .hack people but all I saw were Azure Kite and Kite. ;_;

I also liked Manry, I wish I had gotten a pic! XD

for me, i'd say it's a tie between Mewtwo and Frank. (Frank being the rabbit from Donnie Darko) XD you guys were amazazing! and an Honorable Mention goes out to the Davy Jones cosplayer. you rocked my socks!

Dooooood Mike, you were my favorite cosplayer in all three of my cosplays xD
Its funny because before I knew you whenever people asked for my favorite cosplayers I had ever seen I would say The Zabuza from my first con and the gorgeous Pein from my second con...but I didnt know they were both one person till I met you xD Hahaha!

I totally fangirled over the Kusuriuri from Mononoke. I only saw one out of two, but had I saw the other, I would have been just the same as the first. I love that show, and it seems to be a bit obscure still, so that was a real treat. Ico was fantastic, too. Of course, Yotsuba was adorable, and the tiny version of Hunny-senpai from Ouran High School Host Club.

Drunken Lee was my absolute favorite.
I just about had a heart attack when I saw him. He was so epic, it isnt easy to pull off Rock Lee, but he really did it. There was another guy doing the Lee thing, but he looked like he was going to collapse into himself.

Oh and that one Kazekage Gaara chick running around in the park. She was totally none Gaara like when I saw her (maybe because she was dancing) but her costume was good......and that other Gaara...the one running around with the kewl Temari and Kankuro.

I cant remember what she looked like exactly, but I know my friend caugt her on film with my camera. I will have to look at it again.

Hey there many others (like Lavi with the giant hammer) but I cannot think of them at the moment (again, I will probably have to look at the footage I gots to remember).

Just seeing and recognizing all the people from the forums made my con, seriously.

But yeah, Davy Jones was awesome. If my boombox hadn't run out of power I would have followed her around the whole con playing Davy's theme on loop.

And, of course, mine, because I put so much work into them...
