18+ Yaoi/yuri party review

 First of all I want to thank everyone who showed up. I really didn't expect such a turn out. I'd also like to give much thanks to whomever lent us his laptop. I requested a tech but they must only have so many.


 It didn't go exactly as I wanted. I had intended to have more an 'event' than a viewing but the room really didn't permit that.  I think for such a last minute-panel it went over rather well and I intend to do another one next year.

 Alright, enough excuses, time for planning.
 First of all;  I'll register earlier so that we will be able to get at tech. I'm pretty retarded at that kind of thing.

 Now, anyone have suggestions for games ect?

I was the I.D. checking Yojimbo at the door, from what I heard from people coming out, the event kinda got a mixed response, but then, people kept coming back, so it can't have been too bad right?  Haha, I'd be more constructive, but I wasn't actually in the room.

It was actually a highlight of the con for me, a lot of random hilarity occurred in that room.  I skipped out when Mirage of Blaze started, because its kinda slow and not terribly yaoi.  I wandered back in later to watch Sensitive Pornograph, LOL.  I liked the dude who screamed "KEEP IT DOWN, WE'RE TRYING TO WATCH PORN IN HERE!!" even though we were just watching Strawberry Panic at that point. 
I had fun.  It was pretty low-key, pretty chill, and that was nice.  A lot of fun people in the room.

And it was a million times better than the shounen-ai/shoujo-ai party that spontaneously combusted. ^^;
  I left that around the time people discovered that no one was running it and a little girl started yelling at people.  FAIL.

That was hilarious.  You should've seen the group he was yelling at they were pretty funny too.

Yea, I remember you. Thank you for your help. I was afraid that since the minor party was in the same room it would be easy for them to just hide but you did a good job of keeping them out.

I'm so very glad you enjoyed it. I have never ever hosted a panel  before. I was just kind of thrown into it.
I was pretty nervous about running it. I thought it would be a lot of " OMG YOW-IE!!1!!11!!"
But, like I've been told, that does seem to be purely a 'minor thing'.

'Blaze of Mirage'..Oi. We only watched an episode because of the 'epic lolz' the dubbing was SO off. XD

Unfortuantly, I still ended up taking the rap for the lack of host for the minors party.

Since it was in the same room, rigth before my panel, they thought that I had been running it too.

I told them otherwise, but it had already been ranted about it in the critique/critscism panel. Thanx. >_<


Aaaanyway, I plan to have a much better one next year. With more of an actual..'party' feel to it'.

After seeing how corny some of it was I'm thinking some 'chessy porn Mystery science theatre' might be fun.

Any other ideas?

 Oi, I made a new thread and I see no way to delete this one. Would somemod be so kind as to help out this 'technically' retarded poster and delete this topic/tell me how to do it myself?
