life. "freedom" is almost a fake concept at this point (at least the way it is portrayed in america) and honestly, there is still the total option to be yourself even if you don't have "freedom". I'm not sure how you are meaning this word though... like freedom to do whatever (as in kill if you feel like it and such), or free choice over your actions, or free speech or free thought? but anyway. freedom is superfluous if you are dead.
