KCon 09 photo scavenger hunt?

So this idea came recently during KCon... Theres a scavenger hunt at KCon for cosplayers with these official kcon scavenger hunt stickers and its really fun but... There's so many that I can NEVER find that I just give up... and I know alot of other people do too so to solve this I thought: why not a photo scavenger hunt?

It would go like this:

On the fly I will make and print a list of characters I've seen walking around the con.

1. Collect the list at info booth day one.
2. FIND ANYONE DRESSED AS THEM!
3. Complete your list and get as many people in the listed characters as possible.
4. Show up to the panel on day two and upload your pictures.

The person with the most complete list and the most unique number of people photographed wins!

I'm going to try it out at M.E.W. Con and see how it goes, maybe make some adjustments but would anyone be interested in this for KCon 2009 as a panel?

I did a photo scavenger hunt at AX this summer, and it was crazy. 

We got into teams of 10-15, and were given a list of 15 items.  I remember they were anything from the hotel sign to a picture of a starbucks cup, a corn dog, or a sign around the con.  Each list was different.  The hardest one for me was the Mercedes key.  It would appear that there are approximately three anime fans who drive Mercedes. 

People were able to just take them on their phones and show them to the judges, which was really nice.  You could even do it during a two hour panel time.  That is enough time for people to go, find the stuff, and come back.

Yeah and TWO of the anime fans who drive Mercedes are Kumoricon's AMV manager and Cosplay Manager [actually, we own two, so we each get to drive one of them... ].  Wonder who the other one is?

I like the idea of ANYONE dressed as them....there was a Temari on this list this year and I got asked a few times if I was that one....sadly no v.v

Yeah, the whole show off your pictures might be cumbersome because of all the tech involved but it might work. 

However, I fully understand people with frustrations about not just finding A link but the right link

hmmmm this seems like an interesting concept. I didn't get to many panels this year. I really need to figure out what I want to do next year. panels or events. wander or sit in a video room/karaoke. but the scavenger hunt was one thing I did actually really want to do. :3

I like the idea.  It would get me to take more pictures. XD

However, you'd have to make sure there were several people dressed as each thing on the list, so the same person doesn't keep getting bugged over and over for pictures. o_O  (Though, I think most people like getting their picture taken...)

I was one of the official cosplayers and people would just find me on the first day and then see me the next day and check their list and find me that way
