Do you recognise your Directors?

I know many people dont go to meetings, or they go to a couple and couldnt possibly remember which director is what or what there names are. But MANY people use this website for Con info. My question is is if you had to find a director at the con, could you do it? Is there a way to get current (non cosplay *sorry*) pics of our directors and their positions on the main page of our website? It seems like it would be a good Idea to not only recognise our directors but also to feel more comfortable approaching them. I heard director complaints this year saying that no one would come to them with questions and this seems so silly being that I really got to know them this year and they are all wonderful people.

*Might be located elsewere but maybe we could have a fun director Q&A with fun facts like their fav Anime/Manga etc.*

Thoughts? Oppinions?

*luv Tom for that* but it is kinda hard to read and very outdated on some of the photos. I still think it would be helpful to have it on the main site. Without that link I wouldnt know, and im sure many others dont know the link. That and the pics of the past directors can be confusing to new staff or attendees.

Oh yeah, for sure. It would be a nice thing to have made/updated every year, since board members and chairpeople change yearly (don't they?). And I agree, it would be a good thing to have on the main page.

2008, Yes.
2007, Yes.
2006, Mostly.
2005 & 2004 No. 
The more involved you are with con throughout the year, the more easily you can recognize the people at the front of the room.

Yeah, it probably would be a good idea to always have pictures of our directors and staff...our "bosses".

That's why I made my staff page back in 2006. The website was not enough for me and I have a bad memory. All the typing and reloading of the page to check for errors burned people into my brain so I could remember.

If the official website started doing this then I could use sillier pictures.

I really do appreciate your work on this. Keep up the good work. Ill try to get you current photos of David and Myself. Im still probably gonna talk to Jeff and see if we cant get just the directors on the main page or something. It would be helpful.

I know everyone on the board by name and face and quite a few of the managers. When you get down to the lower staff positions is where I don't know people, especially when it comes to non-ops folks. But I do like this idea if for nothing other than just directors.

I don't have a problem identifying Directors, but I do have a problem identifying other staffers. But I suppose that's what the staff retreat is for, of which I still have yet to make it to one...

Identifying is one thing at a con. FINDING them at the convention is another issue. XD
