I had to ride the bus for 2 years cuz my mom didnt have a car......I lived in powel right next to a sexual preditor and a crazy murdering guy.

Anyway! So this meeting has turned into a workday/ potluck/ anime fest? o-o

Riding the bus here is way safer than riding the bus in Israel though.

I was expressly forbidden to ride 'em there. It gave me an aversion to buses outside of school since then... Until I rode the bus to the mall once. lol~

Yep, I have a friend there who does.

When I went to visit in the summer of 2007, I was supposed to go to an anime con there with her but it got postponed or something. I ended up missing it. xD It was lame.

@Seraph:
I didn't get to travel much within Israel, but I loved where I lived. It was actually pretty safe compared to how the media projected the whole country. Anyway, I grew up there (3rd - 5th grade!~) so it has a special place in my heart.

The school system sucked. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to though; things were so close together. I hate urban sprawl.

. The weather was generally hot, except in the winter when it rained and the streets were like rivers. That was fun.

. I remember the Cheetos were gross, so that put me off of Cheetos. But they have some of my favorite junk food, Bamba and Bissli. You can get them here in the States if you look in the right places. OMG, I was also introduced to the most awesome pens on earth there.

Okay, I can't talk anymore, waaah~ I gotta go to bed. Parents getting mad. But I could talk all day about Israel. XDD

Sorry for the double post but it wasn't showing that I had already done so~

Anyway, after comparing my cosplay with several sources I have concluded that my Amane cosplay is based after the manga! So if any of my Spica sistahs want to match then the manga is a good resource to look at :3

My Amane is 100% done... except for the shoes, but everything else is done! WOO! Oh wait... I need a new ribbon, and THEN I'll be 100% done! YAY! >:3

How is she btw? I haven't seen her lately.
I likely won't get mine until spring at the earliest. myself, Shay, and the Kizuna cosplayer are the only St. Lulim cosplayers so I look forward to when Shay gets her cosplay.

maybe at the very least, we should try having our cosplays by summer meeting, whenever that is(I'm presuming we have one).
