well if you find that after all the expenses for the con and it confirmed that you won't be able to get Kagome in time, you could wear another one of your cosplays and claims its for Chikaru's tranformation club ^_-.

Either way, I'm willing to help in anyway should you want it.

Hmm...maybe to help make con a bit easier on everyone, maybe we have a food potluck for the con? So we don't have to buy really spendy food in downtown? I could like make some Musubi for example.

Oh yeah. What with the costs of moving up to Portland, I'm not sure I'll be attending k-con at all this time. I still REALLY want to go, and if there's the inkling I can I will jump on that like white on rice but until I know for sure how much moving up will cost me I'm not making anymore plans...

depending on how you getting to the con, you may be able to skip out on getting a hotel, which would make attending the con much cheaper.

if we end up living more than a half an hour walk away from the con we're getting a hotel. Both Tifa and I refuse to walk 45 mins to an hour just to do a costume change or something and it's not worth the risk of walking that far late at night after we get out of the raves.

Understandable. Walking late at night issue aside, I believe you can try storing costumes and change in a friend's hotel room.

Meh, I'd rather not bother anybody with that since I would have to either A) steal their keycard to get in the room or B) force them to come with me.

It's just easier in our minds to have our own. Either way we're happy with the prospect of no parental supervision at a con finally. We can walk around however naked we want to. 8D

Do you think it's reasonable if I set a cut-off date for character decisions on June 1st, where no one is allowed to drop or change their chara after that?

I'm really serious about this group, and so should you be. If you're not, don't be a part of it.

Obviously there was no meeting today, and there won't be a meeting next Sunday either as I will be away on a trip. Think a meeting on Tuesday the 26th will be possible?

I agree. If people keeping dropping the cosplay that they've committed to then our whole group is going to get messed up. We need an update from everyone, on who they're cosplaying, and how far along they are. We're missing some of the main characters now that so many people have dropped it.

I'm going good, though ran into delays. I have the mats for jacket, hopefully both skirt and collar. Will be start working on the skirt/collar this week. Once those two are done, the jacket will come next and finally the top.

I'm still trying to find the right and affordable shoes. Payless has a pair I think matchs very well but they're $35 X_X

I'm still planning on getting Kizuna. It's just that Tifa doesn't have a job yet, and we need at least 600 dollars EACH for moving costs, so I'm just worried that I'm going to have to pull all the weight if she doesn't get her ass in gear and get a job. That's another $600 dollars I could have used elsewhere.

I won't start work until after June 5th, because that's when I graduate. After that it's summer for me, and getting money should be no problem. It's just a matter of paranoia on my part.

I'm having a dilemma:
I want to completely change my hairstyle over the summer, so I can't be Miyuki without a wig.
So if I'm going to get a wig, I figure I might as well be a character we need more.

I'd prefer to be Tamao, but if we don't have a Nagisa, I'd consider being her, maybe.
I wouldn't really want to be a main character though, if avoidable.
