Location: Lacamas Lake Park, by the playground (there's only one playground area, you really can't miss it since it's right by the only parking lot)

Well, since the 14th is out, back to the 13th.
And should I just assume everyone is good as to location, since no one has mentioned it?

If its the one over by Camas, I would not be able to make it. I'm restricted by bus which does not appear to go there. Likely take too long to get there if even the bus did went there.

This weekend I have plans. I made them forever and a year ago (Okay so back in June, but the point stands...) to go to the Scandinavian Festival with my friends. I won't be able to make the meeting. Not like I really need the practice as I basically ate, slept and breathed the skit so I know it better than anyone...

But that's beside the point again...

Anyway, Kizuna just left US Customs so it should be here within the week.

Alright, it doesn't seem like any day soon is going to really work. We haven't practiced our skit even once, and we only have a vague idea of what we're doing for our panel. And K-con is coming up fast. If we don't get moving, our skit in particular is going to be pathetic. I don't want to be harsh or anything, but it's the truth.
We can change the location, if that's the problem. We need to decide what day though. Is anyone actually available this weekend? If we don't have a lot of people, practicing our skit it going to be futile. And obviously we can't ever seem to all get together. I don't see how we're going to pull this off if we don't get it together.

As for alternate locations, there's a park right by my house, I'm in Camas, and I know it would be fine to meet at my place, and then go to the park to practice. And for those who are going by bus, I'm pretty sure there's a stop near my house. I don't use the bus as a rule, but I could look it up. Other than that, I don't know any other good places. And as to dates, if this weekend won't work, how about any time during the following week? I'm free the entire time, if I don't need a ride. But in the interest of making it soon, is next Sunday, the 16th, good for anyone?

I agree. Due to family relations I'm not able to make it anywhere and for some reason my times are really booked.
Not everyone needs to be at the meetings and i don't either but if someone going has a tape recorder it would be of great help to me knowing the timing.
Since we don't know the dimensions of the stage our timing won't be really accurate.
All in honestly we might have to memorize our lines. Also...seeing the way things are going this skit is going to crash and burn because people haven't bothered to pay attention anymore because Cassie isn't here. I'm really disappointed since everyone up until this point has worked hard for ideas on the skit. The panel I'm not so much worried about because it's our panel and we can do whatever we want.
But this skit hasn't been rehearshed more then once. No one attends the meetings anymore [/other then about 3 people] and I think it's because Cassie isn't here. More people would have tried to attend the meetings. I know people did when Cassie was here but just because she's not here doesn't mean people can slack off. I'm honestly not happy with this progress. I can't even explain how much disappointment I have right now.

Since no one seems to bother to read longer posts, I'll simply suggest another plan:

Date: August 16th, Sunday
Time: 1 pm
Location: Meeting at my house, Camas, and then practicing our skit in the park two minutes from my house

Even if we can't practice it perfectly, any practice will help. Plus, we're going to need to work on the props, if we're actually going to use them. The props mentioned in the skits are:
- lampshade
- frilly dress
- awkward sign
- two fake bushes

Oh...Camas is in Washington I see.
It's about a 30 minute drive for me and I'm not sure if my mom wants to drive me there.
The transit doesn't go out there so I probably won't be able to make it.

I think Tanis said something about their being a shuttle that can take you across the river into Vancouver, but I don't know how much that costs.
