Yeah, I'm planning to go for that one.
She does, but I figure it's like doing a regular bun, which I can do. Her's is a bit elaborate though, with parts of it braided, so I'll probably just stick with a simple bun.

sounds like you're set on the wig part of the cosplay then ^_^.

Quick summary of meeting:
Panel: Q&A, improv games(i.e. etoile contest, act out scenrio from hat), and set for 2nd day evening.
Skit: a general outline of idea of what happens.

Red Robin meeting appears to be 1 pm on Friday 19th, June.

TWO MORE WEEKS AND I'M FREE~! Then all I have to do is work my butt off for my driver's license and start work. Then I'll have money for the car/insurance and cosplay related items. Haha~ I shall be victorious yet!

Thanks, this is one of the hardest things(getting the pleats to line up right) I've done so far I'm glad it come out well.

You can make something like this as well with a little practice! ^_^ I'm mostly self taught and this is only the 2nd skirt I made(only made about 5 costumes before this one, most of them a lot more simple to make). And I'm always willing to help out if you have any trouble.

Sadly, I don't. I had ck'ed out a number of jo ann stores before deciding to the with the one at fabric depot for plaid for the st. lulim uniform.

In other news, I have been looking at tons of wigs and it looks like I am going to get this one. What do y'all think? It looks kinda light in the picture, but it's the right length and style and not super expensive.

Tomorrow is final review day, and then the 2nd and 3rd are my senior finals, so I'm going to be busy studying... I haven't been able to work on the skit much because of that... But this weekend I'll be free as a bird, and that will be my main focus.

NOTES FROM THE MEETING

- May is over. This means I'm BACK.
- Panel form sent in, haven't heard back yet.
- K-Rock-InC is working on the script and should have it done by Wednesday.
- Cassiopeia wants to have some people from the group do a dance in the dance contest - not competing, just showing.
- We should make a dance video and a cosplay video of the SP! anime opening.
- We are at the same place we were 3 months ago. We need to get our butts in gear. COMMUNICATIONN~
- Remember there's a meeting irl on the 19th.
- From now on we will have meeting notes!

- Communication requirements.
Minimal thread posting requirement - status update once a week.
Online meeting requirement - Miss two meetings in a row without warning, and you will be kicked out of the group.
(Basically, check in at least once a week and tell us if you can't make it to a meeting.)
- Brainstorm of series for next year: Harvest Moon, Dark Cloud, Tsubasa Chronicles, Lovedol (Lovely Idol), Fruits Basket, Kaleido Star, Tokyo Mew Mew (joke~), Minami-ke, Maria-sama ga Miteru (no because of Dana), .Hack, Hana-Kimi, Di Gi Charat, Axis Powers Hetalia, Hayate the Combat Butler, Princess Princess (was this a suggestion?), Hatsukoi Limited, Ouran, Shugo Chara

Personally, I have no interest in Strawberry Panic, but I was stupid enough to sign up for Kagome, and now, I'm feeling the punishment of that decision, and I'm scramblnig around to get Fifty different things done at once. T.T
I really am trying to get this done, but there are other things that I need to have as my top priority, like pre-registering, and having my hotel paid for.

Unless you convince us to accept you in again, yeah.
If you really don't want to be Kagome, you can drop the character. The main point of this group is to have fun, and if you're not really into it, you don't need to do it. Mostly we just need to know who we can write into the skit. But we need to know that now.
You can still be a part of this group without cosplaying. We have members who aren't doing it this year. But there are other things you can do to help the group, like helping with photography or video at the con, coming up with panel activities, helping others with their costumes, just talking with us so you actually feel like part of the group even if you're not doing anything, etc.
Of course you need to actually get to the con in order to do any of this stuff at it. That is way important. We won't think any less of you if you need to drop your plans of cosplaying Kagome~ But you still better participate in the group.
Kumoricon is our only focus this year, but next year I hope to do more. Just so y'all know. ;[

I can start coming to all the meet-ups possible from now on, and I'll definately help with ideas and stuff. (They're on MSN, right? o.o)
It's just that this is my first year cosplaying at Kumo-Con, and I got in a little over my head.

I'm sure we can do sooooo much more next year, which excites me, because this group is pretty awesome. ;'D
