I have been staying at my parent's house and they no longer have internet access... That's the reason for my big vanishing act.

I do have news. I will be able to attend K con in theory, but it's still not clear if I'll be able to pull off Utau. I haven't had any luck getting a job, but I have a sort of job offer with my old work. I might be working more starting the 11th/12th. Whether or not the wig I want will come on time if I order it after I get paid is really the biggest issue.

Absent notice for Sunday & Most Wednesdays.

Tomorrow I'll be spending the day with my best friend who lives in Yakima who brought my god daughter (her daughter) with her. I haven't seen either since the end of April, so this is a pretty big deal.

And I'm going back to work with my mom starting Monday, and I'll be working Mon-Wed. So I will be spending those days at my parent's house which means I won't be able to make it to the meetings, but that I will make it to k con.

Also, I'm moving into my own apartment with a friend after September 15th, so I won't know how much I'll be able to get on after that date until I get enough money to get my own laptop again unless I buy my old computer from my mom.

So pretty much I'll be MIA until October most likely. I hate to do this, but that's looking to end up going to be that way. I'll get on as much as I can, but I can't guarantee anything at this point.

I'll still be absent but I've come online currently to say that I'm almost finnished with Kukai. But I can't make the video because no one tells me anything. ;u;

I CAN make it to Kcon currently, but again sence no one has told me anything and I've been absent are we still having a pannel? If so, what day. I'm not getting my internet back anytime soon, so it's better to know now....

Our panel is on the first day, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, in Panel 3.

Who can bring a cake?
What prizes shall we have, and who will bring them?
I can bring a computer and speakers to play music. And our video too, if we make it.
It's not too late to make the video, guys. Send me some footage!

Is 4:00 the first day an acceptable time for a photoshoot?

I love you all, but looks like Queen Amu's not gonna happen ><. My 300 dollar check, the one I was gonna get the fabric for and stuff, is getting sent the 27th of August. *sighs* I was going to pick it up in person yesterday so I could go shopping today, get the stuff, and make it... but...
College. Yeah. College >> I needed to head down to SOU, across the state, to meet with my academic advisor. And I needed to do it then because a lot of the classes were filling up and I couldn't register for them until I had. I am so sorry everyone.
But I will be at the panel. I will probably be at the photoshoot. And if you want a cake, I could try for that too xD Or cupcakes that we can hand out for prizses, I dunno n.n;;;
I'll be bringing my laptop if we want. It's a monster o-o and my comp speakers for it; it also had a monitor/projector hookup thing too if we want.
For a while I thought this all died because a meeting hasn't happened in a really long time. As least, I haven't seen one... even if I am on near twenty-four seven now xD

oh and... yay useless pink with of uselessness now >> Oh well; I can make it a Sakura one I guess xD

I haven't been able to respond or hold meetings because I haven't been able to get on the computer much. I've been out and about with my family. I've been following everyone's posts and keeping everything in mind, but it's hard to respond in a calm, happy, leaderlike manner when there's a lot going on that's disappointing.

KFC: Send in the footage whenever... This goes for all of you. Email it to me, or upload it to a filesharing site. If you want. Whatever.

Dana, your costume is awesome. What time would you rather have the photoshoot?

Now that Amaya won't have a costume, and Dana won't be at the panel, we won't have an Amu for it. How does that work?

Amaya, your laptop and connecting accessories will be of help, because what you have is probably better than what I can bring. However, if you don't want to bring them, for convienence's sake, it's ok and we can use mine. I don't know if we'll have a projector. But it'd be awesome if you could take care of the cake/cupcakes this time.

I think the entire group has been under stress this previous year. I think everyone had to struggle with RL matters preventing them from getting involved with the group. My own RL matters prevents me from doing major cosplay work for most of the year.

Edit: Well I got received my wig order and I must say my first impression is disappointment. Color is off and the ponytail work seems very simplistic. I'm not sure if I'll actually use it.

What I got look like a light blueish & white wig with ponytail merely being a black wire tied on to the back....=/

Of course I ran into other issues as my parents decided to give me more drama over cosplay(insulting me and then telling to find someplace else to do my work).

any suggestions on where I could do work? I have everything I need, except for a decent place to work.

HEY GUYS!

Checking in and what not after a long... well long everything. Long weeks at work, long weeks preparing to move... Life sucks for CoaP right about now right?

So here's my deal, I only have 400 dollars to make this whole con work. The possible room I have is 85 per person, and I have to pay for me and my friend, while also paying for registration. That cuts me back a little bit and I'm just worried I'm not going to have enough to buy everything I need for my closet Utau. So unless I find a better place to stay, it's possible I won't be cosplaying at all (aside from Marluxia for my photoshoot with Dana!).

So with the panel losing members able to come, I say we should probably let go of the being in character idea, but keep the games and quiz.

Also, if we can meet up sometime before our panel, I can use my camera to record us, use someone's laptop and still whip up an intro. But it's only worth it if I know we can all try to meet up. Yes, no, maybe so?

Cassi- That is an excelent place. But maybe the lobby on the 2nd floor? Becuase last year the lobby was so packed I'm not sure if the hotel staff will yell again.

MEETING NOTES 9/15/2010

In attendance: Cassiopeia, Seraph, Amaya

- Bad news: I will most likely not be attending Kumoricon next year, due to the fact that I will hopefully be either in Israel or starting college somewhere far away.
- This means we need to change the way our group operates, hopefully do more collaborative stuff during the year, maybe do something at Sakura-Con.
- Let's cosplay from a video game this time?
- 2 of us at least still vote for Dark Cloud, but we brainstormed other games/series.
- Titles we mentioned: Blazblue, Nanoha, Phoenix Wright, Harvest Moon, Fatal Frame, DDR, Tetris (we'd have all 7 pieces!), Sengoku Basara, Samurai/Dynasty Warriors, Legend of Zelda
