Yeah, no.. 46" is so great compared to an HD projection that's over 20 feet. And a giant room with 20+ speakers, hooked up to subs, that's designed to enhance the sound and bounce the acoustics.
But hey, 2 terabytes isn't bad.. I've got 2 terabytes myself. And that's just my external harddrives. Plus over 400 burned DVDs of anime.
But anyway, it's worth going to see it in theaters if there's alot of cool people there you wanna hang out with. It's fun.
You are in Beaverton. I'm in Eugene. The theaters here have quite a ways to go. Especially the ones that play anime. Death Note will play for one night in a decent theater, but if it was going to have a run it would probablly end up at the Bijou. That is where Paprika, Ghost in the Shell - Innocense, Howl's Moving Castle, and Steamboy played. Most of them for one week during school hours. My place is much better than that. Of course I can't fit as many people in here, but I have been playing anime at my home every Friday for over a year and I still haven't had more than 6 people show up, so I guess that isn't a problem.
Think you have me beat on quantity of DVD's I have three 2" binders with double sided sleeves that hold 4 DVD's or CD's to a side. I still haven't recopied all of my old CD-R's to DVD format, so I am not quite up to your level. I do have just about everything that is currently out, and a lot of the older classics. All of Bleach, Naruto, SailorMoon, MAR, InuYasha, Ranma, Kenshin, FMA, FMP, Code Geass, Claymore, Hellsing, and of course Death Note, plus many, many more. I am working on One Piece. Have the first 300 episodes so far.
