This topic is here to discuss the moral implications of neurophysical experimentation on Chimpanzees.  Have at it.

I think it's pretty awful, the experimentation.

There are other ways to accomplish things, they just need to think harder.

Hahaha I love you for that.

I watched a re-run of Quantum Leap where Sam was a Chimp who was almost subjected to a neurophysical test involving crash helmets.  IT WAS SCARY.  And sad to think that they would try something like that. :[

That is a scary thought. I've been reading/listening to a lot of horror stories lately, so my imagination is already running in terror mode. I can totally see that scenario playing out, and it carries a valid message with it.

Yeah.

There was a good cause behind it.  It was a good episode, just scary once you realised what was going on. :[
