Dancing Music Preference

So we've had a few mini events this year that featured music to dance to and had several events at kumoricon proper.  How were we doing on music selection?

1.)  Masquerade
2.)  Swing Dance
3.)  Rave
4.)  Slow Dance

soo far its seems pretty good, though im usually down for almost anything

I liked the idea of some main stream songs just to be thrown in so people could have a fan moment. the swing music was not very fitting for the masquerade ball though. they need to have slower more waltz like songs.

the rave dance could really have anything. always play popular favorites and what not. I haven't been to the swing dance yet but I think that one will probably have appropriate swing music. :3

... you know what? This is an anime con... yet I didn't hear Waltz to the Moon, from FFVIII. It made me sad. Don't get much more ballroom with cosplayers then a ballroom song from FF. XD

oh so true. they didn't have a lot of songs which would've been perfect for certain dances. I didn't even think of that one.
