For spending money, just pace yourself. (Or make a deal with your parents to borrow money and pay it back/work for it.) You should be fine with whatever you end up with.
Haha, I actually have to leave on Monday at around five o'clock in the morning so I DON'T miss school. Yay for freakishly early plane rides. x.x I wish my college started a week later.

Haha, don't worry. High school (I'm assuming xD) goes by pretty darn fast. If you don't stress out too much, and avoid/ignore drama, then it's a lot of fun.
Plus you get to meet lots of people who think cosplaying is awesome. That's a perk.

lol my first cosplay was Kairi last year. i made that thing (yes i deemed it a 'thing' after i was finished) in the last minute. like i'm talking, I was hemming the bottom right before we hit the road last minute. But it ended up looking fine despite the horribly see through part....... >.> But i was proud of it! I had to say I was one of the best looking Kairi's there. 8D

Just wanted to drop by the news of our SE costumes =3

Maka's finished her jacket, and hopefully the dress by now.. I know she had the ruffles done but weren't on yet for the dress.
And Death's got to sew on the rectangles on the shirt I believe, and the rings were finished.
I gotta harass those two pretty soon to see how it's going.

And, unless we get a car for the day of the masq, I'll be in Red Room Soul the whooooole day ^_^

..I hope I don't cook...

Depends on the day/time I think.. But you can hang with my group ^^ I'm twenty, and I've got 2 other girls about 18, and their two little sisters (about 14) with us. A group of 6 should be pretty safe, and we don't like to leave the convention space very often if we can help it.

Our sort of single-person suggested time is 3:20 ish.... But we don't have to go with it.

Saturday sounds better to me... But that's cause I know several SE cosplayers have commitments to shoots on Sunday and it'd be hell to be changing between 4 different costumes.

We could bump the Sat one to 3pm perhaps and have it somewhere at the con site perhaps?
