@Plum: Lol good idea. But with both of them ,thanks to her weird feet, I'l be somewhat....walking impared. xD And also sence those weird sleeve things she has on her hands don't really move down so I'll have to be some what....um....well I won't pick up anything. >>;
But good idea with those unitard thingys. Lol. Its not the fact I worry about my body shape in the costume, It's my blinding pale skin. xD Sence I'm pretty tiny compared to the tall Mizune standing at like 5'7" I think. When I'm only 5'3" and 117 pounds. XD But thanks for all the ideas! 8D

so blair's dress is almost finished(thanks to kfc :3). it's been cut and sewn;I just need to add the white part underneath and startch it so it sticks out without a petticoat. 8D

I finished her sleeves quickly after I decided to be her. I have the base for the shoes I just need to add fabric and voila. I'm trying to buy the wig as wee speak but I don't have required info with me to make a paypal account. DX The hat is killing me, seriously. I have maybe 1/4-1/3 of it done. I'm still devising how to make the tip work. :/

I'd post progress pics. I really want to actually but my camera is also getting fixed along with my computer right now. I'll try to get some up. maybe borrow my friends camera.

Lol. I know what that's like, I'm rarely out in the sun enough to get tan, and when I am, I usually just sunburn, peal, and then stay pale. The only time I seem to be able to tan is when I wearing something that will give me a gnarly farmers tan! I'm going to use bronzer for black star. Though Mizune is pretty damn pale. Still, Go with the more comfortable costume for you, From the sound of it you wont really be able to move depending on your choice!

LOLOLOL Same. Sept...I don't go outside without a jacket 3/4 of the time. xD That's good that Mizune is pale though means I don't have to attempt to fake and bake like i'd probly do for Patty. >>;
I guess I'll just stick with the final version of her sence I'm not as short as the Mizune sisters alone. xD

Yes. And the skirt a little but we could probly use the same type of thing that um the smaller mice have just make it fit my hips. >> So make it like you would a blanket sort of. For the top...I kind of know what to do.

Yeah, Swedish is actually what I am, but it's a sub-division of Scandinavian. Down here in Eugene, we have a Scandinavian Festival every August. It's a weekend full of being proud that you're either Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish. xD It's a lot of fun.

Anyway, I talked with a friend of mine, and she said we could try to make the buckles out of craft foam.

This is the craft foam tutorial she used to make her Rikku weapons, and I think it's a good idea.
I'm going to buy some ankle boots that I found at Goodwill, and find some leather/pleather to make some shoe covers or something to a similar effect. Then I'll make the craft foam buckles, paint them silver with some acrilic paint, do the whole sealant, Rub'n'Buff deal, and glue them on, and make it so they stay on with velcro in the back. Then I can just paint the sole of the boots the silver color, do the sealing routine again, and BAM, I've got my boots.

What do you think?

Thanks! after looking at a bunch of other cosplayers I decided that I liked the Black Star wigs that were lighter. Tracking one down caused me a lot of grief though. The site that I found it on kept selling out and then they didn't restock for a long time. Eventually I found the same wig on the cosplay.com store. Someone had accidentally bought it and were re-selling there so I snatched it up! The only problem is it is so thin, but I'm sixing that!

lol. you all laugh now, but just wait! I'll be bringin' sexy back. All because of my sexed up wig. As for the work party, I'm out on Friday for break. I'll have to work Saturday but after that I will be free for the whole week. I know Rhe will be working for some of the week but I can stay for however long I like and you can tolerate me for. Also, mum said she would drop Rhe and I off at your place so we can take all of our crap and my sewing machine so that Rhe doesn't have to worry about parking (Darn church can't share it's parking lot).

She gets off Thursday. I'm pretty sure, but not positive that she has Sunday and Monday off. then she works until Thursday. I'll have all of the week off aside from Saturday. But I got Daniel to cover my shift at the restaurant on the 28th, so I have no worries for the picnic. Yay! Foam mattress! Holy crap my neck hurt when I woke up last time. It was even worse since I had fallen asleep without a pillow, I figured you guys would have woken me up and we would have made a floor nest of something, but then I woke up in the same place that morning and I was very shocked to find Rhe had just flopped on the ground with me. Carpet covered cement is not comfortable after a few hours.

I got my Maka skirt from my friend yesterday! It's really short, and the pattern is a little different, but the fabric is awesome! I'm going to either need to get comfortable doing kicks and stuff with the skirt on so people don't get panty shots, or I'm going to buy some booty shorts from this ballet website... xD I'm thinking option 2 is best...

Yeah, I got the acrylic paint and the craft foam I need for Maka's boots. All I need to get is the sealer, which i'll have by tomorrow probably and find some rub 'n' buff stuff to make it look good. Then I need to find some leather like fabric to make the shoe covers with. And spare belt buckles... I think I have one already.
