Yeah I need to make a trip over to joann's once I get paid on the first. I'm budgeting for about $240 for this paycheck, and what with all the expenses so far I should have about 100 left give or take. So yay for spending money! 8D

I have a dilemma. what do you guys think I should do to attach the white part of Blair's dress?

Sew it on underneath or glue it with either fabric glue or hot glue? stitches would hold better but you wouldn't be able to see the glue after it dries. :/

I've seen a lot of stitching it from other cosplayers but my dress wasn't made the same way as theirs. :<

I'd say sew it. That way when you starch it I think it will hold better(I think). best of luck!

ARGH! I don't like not being able to do any work on my Maka cosplay until I get paid... Sakura con will be less than two weeks after I get paid, so I'll have to hurry and speed through the jacket, sweater and boots. >,<

and I still need to figure something out for the buttons.

I'm sure you can get it done! Your just going to have to really get down to business once you start. As for the buttons, you might want to just get normal, big buttons, and use that craft foam stuff over them to make them look like screws.

Yeah, I got my Kairi dress done in less than a month, and that was the WHOLE thing. So just three things of the whole cosplay shouldn't be too bad. I'll just have to have a cosplay weekend where my sewing machine sits on the kitchen table all week sending silent messages to work on it. xDD

I took a beginning sewing class in my sophomore year for a semester, but I didn't go on to the advanced class. So I knew how to make a sewing machine go. AAAAnnnd.... That was about it. Everything else I just guesstimated on it. Worked so far!

Yahooooo! It's 6:15 and we're finally getting to bed... Still not quite done yet though. I'm going to have to sew wefts in spots for sakuracon so what is seen at the picnic wont be the finished product. Then after this sakuracon both Rhe and I are going to buy new wigs and retry. Both of our wigs were WAY thin and they don't look as good as we want them to. Though at the same time its the 1st time we've really had to style anything in such and extreme way... >.< Good Night! or morning.

And here I thought going to bed @ 3AM was bad. Well, my stripes are in! I'm going to go over them a few more times but I tried it on last night and shocked my boyfriend (he didn't think I could pull it off so well lol I showed him!). Although now I'm going to have to cover up the circles under my eyes xD
Since Rheanna and Sydney went to bed a few hours ago, I assume we'll arrive later than we anticipated

I should have just asked them to stay another night.
We'll be there though! ... Providing that they haven't died already xD
