yeah she did, and she sharpened to points then glued them together sort of like a set of fake teeth then stuck them over her own. :3 want me to find the link again? maybe you could ask her more elaborate questions like how did you eat, what type of glue did you use, what types of nails. everything of the like.

glue gun...might not make them work well. you'd have to use a small amount so they're not all bulky.

I bought a nail kit with many different sizes & used super glue to hold it to geather. Then Im ganna use denture adhesive to hold it on mah teeth. LOL I cant wait to see your soul! We can be cool togeter

Okay, so I got started again! I had a mild panic moment when I saw the calendar but then my dear darling mummsie said she would help me puzzle through how to sew pants. And that was honestly what is scaring me the most. I've never sewn pants before. Now I think I'm just a bit nervous about the gloves. I was thinking I would use this thick crib batting I have in the garage. It was originally going to be used for weapons filling for a different cosplay, but I still haven't done that so now it goes to my gloves!

I would go with the craft foam. I've never used it but I hear it works really well. As K-Rock-InC was implying I think that clay wouldn't be the best choice. For one thing might be heavy and if it fell on the ground and broke it would be heart breaking. Then you would just be a pointy black blob ^.^

They have this special wrap at art supply stores that help with making and forming masks and I think that that might be something you should look into. I found it in Art Media while I was getting supplies. Just ask an employee at any art store and I'm pretty sure they'll know about it.

I agree, we do need a good rant. I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to get this done. Every time I get out of class for the day I'm exhausted, and it's so hard to get to work. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the worst because I'm not done until 6:05. This week I've got a paper, an annotated bibliography, an essay in Japanese, and a 7 minute skit script to write... and most of a soul eater costume to finish. I am going to die.

Well, I'm going to do my best to get all of mine done by Saturday. I'm going to try (that's the keyword). I'm not a sewing master, but if you need any help with other things I might be able to help. I'll try, anyway :s

I'm getting my paycheck today, ditching my backpack in my locker (SCREW HOMEWORK! xD) and dragging my friend to the JoAnn's with me to get the vest and jacket fabric and sculpey clay for the buttons after we cash my check. Haha If we go to my house first we'll probably get distracted and never get out of the house. (It's happened so many times... My house sucks up motivation!!)

I only have Maka and my friend's Gay!Squall to work on, and trying to fix her Tifa if I can... So I should be able to get done by the time the weekend ends if I work on it straight through. YAY ME!

Yup. Jacket and vest fabric is home, and so is the clay. So this weekend I'm getting started on them. We couldn't find any good leather looking stuff for the boots and I'm ten seconds away from breaking down and using vinyl or something along those lines... but I'll drag my sorry but over to the Marcola branch just in case... ^^;

Anyway, I'm off to look for belts for Gay!Squall. They're RAINBOW!

So my guns are mostly painted. I just need to do some more detail. I've also molded the skull tie, but I still need to attach the the weird fang parts to it, bake it, and paint it. So far everything is turning out good! Tomorrow I'm going to look for a shirt and some shoes and Saturday I'm finishing my jacket. If I would've brought the material for the pants, I could have finished that but ::shrugs::

Yeah tomorrow straight after school I'm working on my vest. I need to go to wally mart and see about finding my shirt and tie, and I need to go to the bigger joann's in Marcola to look for the fabric for my boots.
I'll probably see about getting a friend of mine to help me with the buttons since she's better at working with clay than me.

aaaaagh my arms -breathes in through teeth- ah man, I burnt myself a bunch of times which is weird because I usually only do it once and that's on a finger. I did not burn my fingers at all(probably because I try being EXTREMELY careful since that first time I did). so instead I got burnt all over my arms instead and I have no idea how.

I got one on my elbow, my fore arm, my wrist. D: they really hurt. DX -looks over at Blair- YOUR SHOES ARE EVIL.

I sewed the top part of the vest together, and I was looking in the mirror to see where the arm holes should stop and I started laughing because it looks like I'm wearing a yellow version of those signs people wear that say "THE END IS NEAR" and stuff in movies. XDDD Then I decided it was a cape and ran in circles in my living room going "I'M SUPERWOMAN!!"

My jacket is almost done. All I have left are the white strips. Tonight I think I'm going to continue working on my guns and the stripes in my wig, etc, etc. I'd post pictures, but I want the rest to be a surprise~
