you could just cut it so that its showt in the back and the sides and have the hair all sorta in one spot on the wig. DX I know what I'm talking about I just can't explain it!

Oh I know what Naru's talking about. Thesta did it for her Maka cosplay at SakuraCon (the maka from the contest w/ Grell). She made a tutorial of it, more or less and it might help. It's better than fussing with making it actual pigtails and getting them to stay in my opinion...

I realized about a few weeks ago Blair really isn't wearing black. It actually is a deep purply color. So a lot of cosplayers have been wrong on color choice. XD

I'm thinking now I'd have to redo her then because of that, which isn't that hard, it's just the fact that I'd have to buy a whole bunch of new fabric. :< man I can't believe I didn't notice it the first time. -feels really dumb- But I did question it for awhile.

@Naru: DOOOD!!! Use duck cloth, and get a liner for the jacket. It may SEEM like a weird fabric choice, but it kept me warm. :3 (I just need to get around to buying my liner fabric. xD)

Haha no, we've been rambling since the end of Sakura Con and haven't gotten around to deciding anything for k con.

Speaking of my cosplay, I GOTS A MANNEQUIN!!!

Her name is Maria, and she has no head, and she's currently wearing my new tank top and with a vest and scarf and looks uber cute, but later in the week she'll be helping me redo Maka's vest! 8D I'm excited that I finally don't have to deal with putting it on, and taking it off and putting it on and taking it off and...well you get the idea.

I'm excited to start work so I can get more fabric, since I don't think I'll have enough of what's left... Hm... Maybe I'll go check later today.

It's the upper torso, so no head or most of the hips... The original price was 60 and the reduced 'going out of business price' was 30 dollars. The Gottschalks down here in Eugene is going out of business so EVERYTHING is on sale. Clothes racks, the ladders, the tables, the mannequins... Everything. It's pretty epic how empty the store looks.

I was going to try Crona, but I'm gonna be cosplaying Kim -- manga version -- instead. I was also going to reuse my Maka from last year, but my hair is waaaaay too short, now. xD Can't wait to see all the Soul Eater cosplayers this year! Sounds like it will be a lot larger than last year.

Hey Soul Eater people! Sorry to be all up in your thread but I noticed that you're all down for a photoshoot @ 3:20ish on Saturday. Us TMoHS kids are having a photoshoot @ 3pm on the same day so if we both end up going to the same park it might be crowded etc. I was just putting it out there I guess, haha~ -leaves thread- =,)
