Oh! Awesome! Haha. The thing with Woody is I can't decide whether or not I would want to go for a more real Woody, like a cowboy with regular vest and jeans or Toy Woody with seams at the knees and the vest attached to the shirt, etc. Toy Woody would be hard to pull off for sure.

If I did cosplay Woody and came across Jessie, I would be so happy.

Ngl, my dream cosplay is my WoW Character. She's a female Dranei.... Yeah. Pony feet.
I give up on trying to find my specific character link... owo I'm such a noob sometimes.

Pony feet wouldn't be too hard to pull off. Just righteously uncomfortable. I've seen someone alter jeans to look like satyr legs. Pad the front of your thighs and the back of your calves to get a more bendy look to them. There's some great horn tutorials around as well.

Dream cosplay is still Kim Ross (Dresden Codak) and Teo from Avatar.

Attainable dreams, methinks.

Oh, and Amazon Warrior!Donna Troy from the Rise of the Olympian Wonder Woman arc a while back (lol obscure). And Anton from the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, in his messenger outfit that he wears at the beginning of the movie.

You would make me so happy. With your Super Sailor Moon cosplay coming up this year, we are, like cosplay soul mates. That was my last year's outfit. Haha. I would love it if we got a couple people going for a Toy Story cosplay group. Maybe not this year. Perhaps Sakuracon next year or something of the sort.

This is the greatest Buzz Lightyear cosplay I've come across so far:

That sword attachment looks like it would be super annoying to deal with if you need to carry anything during con, so I wouldn't be sure about it... But this is coming from someone who's going to be cosplaying Utsuho Reiuji next Kumoricon. Her entire right arm is a cannon. -_o

I have to say that a dream cosplay I'll probably never fulfil is Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid. I think he's amazing for what he is -- he was quite a shocking and yet humorous villain to me -- but cosplaying him with any accuracy would require me to save my head and invest in a gas mask and custom leather suit. It's just not something I'm willing to sacrifice for.

It's easy enough to make something detachable. I had to do that with a lobster claw before. Just make sure the sword would be tight enough to stay on when you wanted it to. You could go so far as to have your arm go into the sword rather than the sword wrapping around your arm. That way you can instal a bar on the inside of the sword to control how it moves. This would, of course, require making a fake arm, though.

OHMYGOD Me, too! I actually looked up how much fake eyes would cost. So expensive! I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to make the head piece and corset-like torso. Answer: More bedfoam!

Yeah, I kind of noticed that this cosplay is in need of a fake arm. I might have to find some people who can help me out with this in the future.

And yeah, my cousin and I looked up all the expenses for it and kind of went; 'We need to win the lottery.'

Bringing this thread back to life after 2 months.

Boyfriend keeps bugging me to cosplay Prier from LaPucelle Tactics and forever fill his dreams in life. I wish I had the time to stick it in somewhere in my schedual. Maybe replaying it will pump me up and motivate me to do it sooner then later. I think mostly I just hate her stupid nipple apron, wat. I might just meet him halfway and do Overlord Prier.

...maybe you can do it for next year.

That does look like it'd be a fun cosplay to do.

.............O_O

*dies*

I will <3 you forever if you do this. I've considered a LPT cosplay but I can't make a decision between Croix and Omar. Laharl makes a cameo in the Ragnarok retake but I would never be able to do that without some serious work. The amount of unstable materials for costume support, contacts, prop crafting and full body waxing involved just takes way too much out of me and it's really hard to maintain across more than 3 days. x_X'

A simple Croix costume looks completely badass and it draws my attention away from my inability to decide on a design for a similarly drawn Castlevania character but the amount of detail involved is a bit much. Omar is the same but worse on prop work. I never see a Prier cosplay but I would immensely enjoy photographing either version. :D

You can copy my plan and have it be your final cosplay so you can go out with a bang. My final cosplay I'm hoping will be Samus from Metroid, both armor and Zero suit. Lots of money and lots of time. That's two things I don't really have right now.

I don't know if "beautiful" would be the word I would use, but thank you. I really want to give her a shot. I kind of feel like my face shape would be suited to her. Having a long face makes matching a character kind of hard.

Jack Spicer cosplay. Someday.

The main thing is that cause this cosplay is simple, it would have to be done perfectly [or as close as possible] to actually look good.

Oh God...Now I have to go to Yaoicon. *pins* >.>'

I've thought of going as Abel but that would work for me if it weren't for the fact that I'm out of shape and refuse to cosplay a blond. Trigun's Wolfwood works well for my appearance but little for everyone else without a Vash around(yes, I just went there...-_-). I really have to think about this. I still don't know what I'll look like by yaoicon and I don't even know if I'll be able to cosplay any particular character without being torn to shreds thanks to my annoyingly youthful appearance. :-\

I have two right now: Hanch from Drakengard 2 and Avatar of Melandru from Guild Wars

If I can get the funding in time, I'm going to attempt to have this done by the con this year. I'll probably exclude the bow and add a scythe though. I think it's doable, it'll just be tough.

I'm working on goofy outfits of the crew from AAAAH! Real Monsters! Krum looks best. Sporty but cute. So unlike Krum. Ikis is coming along alright, and Oblina looks Oblina-y. Probably the best match for her character.

And Roah, seriously, I would, like, die if you did that outfit. No idea what the reference is, but I love it.

Jill Valentine in her battlesuit from Resident Evil 5 (yummy ^^) and Ruliya from Aqua Knight in FULL armor.

The former is simply a very time consuming task. It would require hours of working fabric onto a wetsuit (since Spif's pleather is beautiful, but I still don't totally like the texture, and most people who use a swimsuit fabric end up looking a little weak, I think the wetsuit will give it the thickness without the leather look) as well as air brushing, hand inking thousands of hexagons and the ultimate sacrifice. Dying my hair blond.

The latter is expensive. Her full suit of Aqua armor will cost about $1,500, but thankfully her costume is simple! I doubt many people would recognize me, but the sheer size and velocity of the build would still make it pretty popular.
