I think hellsing is jsut somewhat rare. like a friend of mine likes to do alucard, but that is a difficult cosplay as I recall. and then teh series isn't hugely popular enough to create the fans to cosplay it.

This is going to be my first attempt at Cosplay (as long as I don't end up having to work that weekend ^.^; ), and I am going as Robin Sena (WHR), but not how you might think. I don't have a big budget, or much sewing talent, so it's going to be her "Harry's" look complete with drink tray and all that. I wanted something simple for me to put together, and creative too, so we'll see how that works.

A friend of mine, is wearing a pair of Chobits ears I bought... (I never got the dress and gave up >_<) but she's making her own dress, and it might not be one from the show... So she'd just be Chii in a different outfit. Is that okay? Or will she get mauled by angry chobits fans o_O

Heh, no most people will just allow it with the persocom ears. But some people frown on it... I don't, beacuse I was planning on wearing some of my Gothic Lolita for Dark Chii. :3

Wow...I have a reason to post here! My cosplay list has changed drastically from what I wanted to do, to what I'm capable of doing.

Here goes:

Duo Maxwell (gundam wing endless waltz) : 80% - I cut my hair, so the braid is gonna be...funky

GALS : 90% - Need hair dye

HYDE : 99% - need to straighten hair

Songstress Yuna : 97% - wrong boots, straighten hair

Link : 100% - jaz made it

Random Jrock cosplay : 100% - can you guess who I am?

well, last year I was Weda from Jungle wa itsumo (the short black girl in the karaoke contest, since most people don't know who weda is)
I'm gonna wear the Nadia costume I wore for Sakura-con since it was so popular and Anthy because we have an Utena group going...but I need a third character... maybe Edward from Cowboy Bebop ...

And Zatch Bell? I don't think I've heard of that. I can think of a title with the world "Bell" in the main character's name but I'm not sure if it's the same series, different name. (does the series included something like magical/powerful puppets? Gash Bell?)

Update on my cosplay list... Due to time constraints, it doesn't look like I'll be able to cosplay Adult Mya from Exodus: Faded Spirits since the character design probably won't be finalized in time... Should be ready for SakuraCon tho!

well I'm more of a 'piro'(i.e. have female characters for online games) then a 'largo' so I dun think of her as a zombie.

BTW, I'm thinking of cosplaying Tenchi Masaki for an easy and comfortable cosplay.

Yay for ultimate fun this year! I'm going as Alphonse from Full Metal Alchemist (FULL ARMOR! YAY!), Musashi from Pokemon, Rare Truffle from Kingdom Hearts, and a random J-pop girl #327 (I call her Yuushi). Ultimate fun! I get to wear my boots! *heart* I might pick some others, just for fun. (easier ones) But since I'm home the whole summer this time, I'm trying to go all out.

the only thing slowing me down from being Li'l Slugger is the bat. i've gotta figure out how to twist then bend a metal baseball bat. the gold spraypaint is easy to find

You could (I've been thinking about this for weeks. xDD) go to a sports store, and I'm guessing they have machines that can straighten out the metal bats for repair. You could have them do the oppisate. Or get your local metal specialist to help.

I was going to go as Neo Queen Serenity from Sailor Moon and my two friends were going to go as Prince Diamond and Saffire! OH YEAH BABY!!! SEXY DIAMOND!! But we are running out of time so we are saving that for Kumoricon 2006. So they are going as a J-Rocker and Shinji from Eva instead and Im going as Mei Lin from Cardcaptor Sakura. odangos are a type of round food. sailor moon, with those sphere shaped blocks of hair she has are shaped like odangos so thats why she sometimes called that.
