It's the syntax of the language, Kinky. It was set that way for a reason, so that we would all have a common ground of which to convey and understand each other's methods. Deviating from this syntax reduces the comprehension of your message, so do so at your own risk.

Yeah, they do hate it there too.

It makes me feel like I'm reading a title... Which isn't even written correctly. Because some things in titles aren't capitalized. xD

I have some kingly words to speak.

Guys maybe you should all chill out. This is the spoon castle and as the spoon king I will not tolerate any discrimination of our spoony citizens, especially for something so petty as the way one types.

If possible I'd like the leet, and japanese war to end too. I don't want our spoony castle getting locked as this is our one spoony haven. So please spoons, do it for yourselves.

English is exponentially harder than Japanese. Approximately 40 times as much words, with completely arbitrary spellings.

Sure, there may be all those kanji, but there's only 1850 of them.

There's 2.2 million english words (not including the technical words, mind you) that you have to learn how to spell, and how to use.

Kinky, I understand habits are hard to change. And I'm not mad at you for doing it or anything. I've got a personal irritating association to the title style of typing. >_> I speak to you in all respect!

Don't ruin our single spoony sanctuary, this is already being resolved so I see no reason to do that. Tanis you only ever hang out with the spoons when you want to nitpick at grammar so you should have no say in such a thing. Who started all of this again?

as a brand new language, then yes english would be harder since the rules aren't always consistent.
but for someone growing up speaking english.........

I just have different perferances.

OH, I must add.
Even though it is my native language, English is ridiculous. There are other languages that are a LOT simpler. Japanese and Hebrew are two prime examples. -nodnod-
Learning how to speak/read/write a language later in your life is harder as you get older though.

native language is the first language you speak correct? or just the one you normally converse with?

I wonder, is english hard because it has american and british english and then we americans at least, speak so casually all the time it and have many cultures within the country speaking their own varients on it that it only mutates all the time.

I mean, wouldn't someone learning japanese here become totally lost if they started speaking to a JPN person from Osaka were they have their own dialect?  and then another part of JPN you have some weird combined mutated verison of the two?

NO WAI.

Tanis does not represent the entire spoon kingdom. Just because he thinks locking this up doesn't mean that that is what should be done.

After I post this I'd be very happy if we could all get back to our spoony goodness. If you don't want to talk about spoons then other topics are merely a click away so have at it. Language lessons for example shouldn't continue here. Please everyone, SPOON CASTLE.

English is hard because there are so many rules and so many exceptions to the rules... And words that you can read but don't know how to pronounce have many possible pronunciations of which only a single one is correct.
And this may be just because I didn't go to school in the states for 3 years... But I don't know all the terms for different types of words and modifications and parts of sentences and whatnot. There's a lot and it's complicated. :P

That's rather evil Patrick XD

Are you sure you want to void or peace treaty? You'd be upsetting quite a few spoons  :D

Tanis I think you're really cool, and we even met at KCon and settled our yaori quabbling. Whenever we energetically ask you to come over here though, you just ignore us, and when you do come on it's just to complain. We are all spoons (except Patrick and Tom x3) so let's stand united instead of apart, our combined flaws make us into a gorgeous spoon like no other!

I know my twin. T_T

PLEASE CEASE THE LANGUAGE DEBATES! THE TONGUE OF SPOON IS AUTOMATICALLY THAT OF THE BEING THAT IS USING IT SO WE DON'T NEED TO SQUABBLE OVER THAT! IF YOU CONTINUE TO SPEAK ABOUT THINGS NOT INVOLVING SPOONS I WILL CONTINUE TO EXASPERATEDLY TALK IN CAPS  :'(
