I saw one HP fic where in CH 1: hedwig dies and harry is almost hit by a car but remains safe CH2 hedwig is alive and harry is in the hospital after being hit the car that miss.....what? O_o you read that right. oh if you ask the author about this, you get a flame.

sometimes their bias gets so they make one character a royal jerk or something demeaning behaviour.

...and please stop the nested quotes. they clutter the threads

speaking of sister/twin a lot of the early fics that had that for alternate universe ending up instead of being a what if harry has a sister/twin, more like what if james and lily potter acted like the dursleys and dudley was some different character who everyone thought was the person who lived.
very annoying
luckly, I've seen some new fics that are good and play on the premise that slibling is mistaken for the one who lived.

I keep thinking of writing a fic. maybe original maybe fan.....my muse keep bugging me about it but I suspect she will dump me the moment I start writing though.....

I dun remember any fic that have neville as the actual BWL. most fanfics that I read nowadays are HP fanfics, used to read lots of ranma 1/2 and naruto fics, but I feel there hasn't been any really good new ones. Love Hina did have few gems though. one that an alternate universe that had mokoto and keitaro having to get married in the very beginning due to some family issues. another one was a crossover with Blood+ that worked very well imo

Spoiler: it also an harem, if one cares for that.

Probably all of the fanfics I read nowadays are Bleach fanfics. Except for the old ones from my FFVII and Naruto fanfic days. I read some great Final Fantasy crossover ones, too. Mostly VII, VIII, and X 'cause those are the ones I know most about.
