o3o Katie, My grandparents, and even my mother are like that. So I completely understand. My family is till, XD Slightly shooken up by the fact I buzzed my head in the first place.
In my knowledge, if they seriously did care about you, and love you, they would slowly start to except you.
Or at least learn to make jokes about it with you, my mom has been doing that lately and I think it's a good sign.

It will be okay.
If on the off chance they never feel 100% comfortable, Just try not to bring it up on purpose to much.
