I need to find and style a wig, make the shirt, make new shorts because I messed up, figure out what to do for feet (paws or no paws), make the bracelets, and make ears. So basically, I only have the tail done xD

Ooooh, well good luck on all that. I'd suggest paws over feet/hands, but it is your call. If I get any ideas how you could do things or make the work easier, I'll be sure to post 'em.

thought id inform you all. sewingpatterns.com freqwently has sales on patterns. go there and sign up for newsletters they have simplicity, kwiksew, mccalls... many many patterns

Hmmm, I don't know how in shape you are but you could maybe pull off Sin from Overture. As long as a have a flat tummy and an ok looking chest (as weird as that sounds) I think you could do it. Lots of work on that though~

Ah, he looks cool, though I haven't been in that good of shape since swim team in high school. T^T I wish I had a pool to swim in 5-6 days a week like in high school. But I am definitely going to keep him in mind. The Kroc Center has been finished or is close to being finished sooooo - there is always hope! So that's two more considerations than I had previously for G.G characters! Thanks boogie! =)

Defiantly Chelsea. I think there's usually a Guilty Gear gathering at every con but they usually are pretty small.

Egads, I'm so excited for '10 now. It's just going to be a handful of cosplays from MY FAVORITE THINGS IN THE WORLD.

I went to joanns and got shirt clasps for Red XIII, a pattern for Satoko, fabric for my secret cosplay, and supplies for my comissions.

I also went to Value villiage and found a really cool belt that I could use for red xiii, but it was $10 o.O so I decided that I'm gonna make one instead. I went to a bead store too, and looked for supplies for red XIII's bracelets, but they didn't have anything and are gonna look at the cataloge to see if they can order stuff. But they gave me some beads for the hair for free

Boogie, if I do Bridget and have any questions about the cosplay can I ask you? Since you have done them before? ^_^

As for THIS year's cosplay - not much work done. Have been hanging out with friends today and I have gotten to talk with a very awesome person named Miki-chan, she is a friend's sister who is visiting from Japan. She is very nice. =)

Boogie, what is the "nightie bridget" look like? *very curious*

(Also, this post was typed from a computer that is from Japan - the keys are different! Thanks to Miki-chan I was able to find a few keys that were located in a very different spot than what I'm used to, haha. XD)

they are very nice! They are even gonna try to special order some other beads I need! I'm gonna try to go there a lot more often. If anyone lives near or in Tigard, I reccomend them. The store is called Bead Bullies.

Hey all. things have changed a bit over here.

Here's the new break down:

In progress for me:

Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass 90% done (Can't find the blasted boots without heels of death or the gloves and sword, my go without.))
O-Saber from Fate//Stay Night 80% done (armor needs reworking badly and dress needs ironing)
O-Sesshomaru: 95% (wig needs trimming)

In progress for boyfriend:

Zero from Code Geass maybe 90% done (just need to find or make that damn mask any suggestions)
Archer (not Gilgamesh) Fate//Stay Night 90% done. Need to paint designs onto top.
O-Inu Yasha from Inu Yasha 85% done but the wig needs some combing and I need to find another way to carry that blasted sword around

The brother has decided not to go so I've dropped Kagome and added Sesshy to my list. It's not fair to have it all done and not use it right?

boogipop: I missed your post last time sorry about that. It's not that I've boon doing a lot of these. It's that a few of them, the ones marked with a O are older cosplays that have been done a few times. The new ones are Suzaku, Zero, and Archer.

Speaking of Archer, I finished his darn pants. I absolutely hate those strappy things he has on his pants. HATE! All I need to do for him now is paint the design onto the shirt and Archer is done, swords and all.

Went back to joanns because I forgot some stuff xD Now I have the fabric for Red XIII's pants and ears. I also got feathers for the ears, and I thought I got clippies for them, but apparently I forgot to take them out of the basket before I returned it xD I didn't pay for them before I returned the basket so all is good. I just have to hunt around the house for some clippies.

i got my spiffy cool bra today! ....its shounds odd at first but its for rikku! it sticks on and clips and is basicly imvisible unless you realy look. it makes my bikinitop look nicer <3

I was going to bike to Joanns this mornin' but then we get this call that a loooooooot of relatives are coming over so I gotta stay here for crowd control, heh. Hopefully they will only stay for a few hours and I will have enough time to bike to Joanns AND be able to browse.

So yeah, not getting as much work done today as I wanted. So awesome to see everyone else is gettin' stuff done!! ^^

Sexy Victreebel dress is sexay~

You look a little uncomfortable in it, though.

Made my belt chain for my 3rd uniform, my earrings for my outfit and an anklet out of the Czech glass beads that were left. It's pretty win. Ordered my black thigh highs too, so when they come I'll put lace on them to prettify the tops and make them match the reference art I'm working off of. I got some cute black eyelet lace that looks just like the illustrations at Joanns.

I love the Victreebel! The spots look really good!

Started sealing the fun foam for a commmision I'm doing, and I thought I had all the pattern peices cut out for red xiii's shirt, but i still need to find one more. And I just got all the other paper all folded nicely...

the shirt will probably be done tonight, and the base of the pants shouln't take too long to make and should be done at somepoint tomorrow or Monday.

Today was yay and awre - Got a pattern for a future cosplay for 1.99 thanks to the sale at Joanns but they didn't have the translucent green plastic stuff they had last year that I used on another cosplay... so I got some colorless frosted plastic stuff and am trying to find a paint that will stick to it but keep it translucent... acrylic didn't work. =(

But I got the straps on my backpack and am soooo close to finishing it, gah! XD But now everyone is sleeping in my house which means I can't keep working. Darn people going to bed at a "reasonable hour". =P

Glad you're making progress, Mei. ^_^

I on the other hand am stuck in a rut. I really want to get my costume done, but need to wait for Kahlan to help me as it requires sewing. So my costume is pretty much up to whenever she feels like working on it, which has been frustrating more than anything else lately.

Just gotta be patient and remember I still have over a month to get it done.
