Finished the helmet for my Snowtrooper today. Just have a couple more things and it is complete. No pics since my card reader isn't wanting to work and I don't want to look for a usb cable

i started working on artemis. it should be done in the next few days. and then yuuki will be 100% complete.

light i just need a new wig and to fix his pants cus they are like 5 inches to small around the waist. lol. so he is like, 90% done.

and itachi i haven't even started on. lol. i have the headband and thats about it. so he's like, 2% done. lol.

well i'm also gonna be itachi for the masquerade. and i have his dress. so i guess we can bump it up to 5% ish. lol

Angel L is 100% complete

Yuuki Kuran [with scythe] is about 95% complete, I just need the fangs and to paint the pole on the scythe.

and like Kuro, I have not yet started my Deidara cosplay. haha. That's okay though, I didn't plan on working on him until the summer.

Merines!Shirley is x% completed... Out of a skirt, headband, train, detatchable sleeves, shirt, and various other minor details, I have about. 80% of the shirt done. The base sleeves I haven't even touched yet, but I've tailored the shirt to fit me almost perfectly. I might bring in the side seams a tiny bit more once the sleeves and snaps are added so I can really see how it fits, but it's looking really great so far. By the end of the night I hope to have finished her shirt (except maybe the emblem that I don't have, or the snaps/closures) and ironed/cut out pieces for the skirt.

Today I took another trip to Joanns with Hidamari and got a pattern for zubat, Satoko, and Rhyme's shirt. I also got fabric for Satoko and Rhyme and a zipper and thread for Satoko's dress. Tomorrow is my cosplay-working-on-day

Alright I started working on Larxene's Kunai tonight. I am getting the base of it made, then I am going to add insulation foam over the base and fiberglass over that. Not sure how I am going to paint it though =/

I need an air brush for the gradient. For those of you that are unaware of what I am making I need to make eight of these

they aren't supposed to be that big. About 4 inches total. The bottom part is where she hold it. So from the begging of the fattest part is what is seen.

I so badly want to work on my cosplay but I have to finish a dress for fashion class first. so glad I'm not taking it next year. >_< The cosplays....are staring at me in the box I keep them in....I mustn't....but.....>_>

Alright I got some more progress pictures. I got the clay on, started to paint and got the blade attached. Right now I am waiting for the glue to drive over the foam so it will have a smooth texture. I will have to do another layer of glue on the top of that one...they should be done by next weekend.

Jezis, Nikki, you're almost done. I suppose if I wanted to I could probably get out all 15 yards of tulle and my hoop skirt and start making my hoop skirt poofier so I'll have correct measurements when I go to get fabric for the bottom tier of Maria's dress, but I'm lazy.

I have very little left to do but the things I do have left will take time. I need to put at least two more layers of glue before I can paint....So that will take one day maybe two just for the glue. Then a few layers of paint.

My White Mage wig didn't have a safe trip home D: So I had to take a shower with it...it was very awkward. But I managed to get all the hairspray and glue out of it so it can be rebraided. Good thing too, I need it for 4+ more events this year.
Also I've been thinking on how to attach my ass leaves for my Victreebell. The dress is going to be kind of tight so I can't really wear a harness under the dress. but attaching it directly to the dress would pull it down I think. I don't know what to do with it yet :\

My friends and I made a plan for our powerpuff girls Z cosplay. Right now that's the only cosplay I'm concerned on finishing. That and meg since I need her for a skit.

I'm making the vest/jackets, Janelle is making the dresses, and Quinci is making the shoes. We're all making/getting our own weapons and I'm not sure on the belts. I think we're going the make/get the rest of the accessories though.

I need to get some yellow fabric for meg. I think I actually already have mostly everything for her. I just need to make it all. wow this years cosplays are really easy. 0_0

Alright I ordered the beads for the organization coat and I sent an email to the girl I plan on having commission my coat. Hopefully I can do payments for the coat and get it by July to make sure everything is the way I need it.

I finished the base part of Rhyme's hat last night and test ran it today. :DIt didn't fall apart yay! I have to wait to make the skull on the side because my black felt is at my dads >_> I'll probably make that tomorrow or tonight...Now I am gonna get to work on Mikuo's arm things and fix the little black things on his tye. Hopefully I won't get distracted...

i finished artemis!

so yuukis is completely done and out of the way thank god.
all i have to do for light is get a wig and fix the pants. the feathers came in yesterday so shanime is going to start making the wings this weekend.
then when light is done i can finally get everything i need for itachi!

I got the beads for my Organization coat today. I also added another layer of glue to the kunai, and I found out that gorilla glue can be sanded

So I am thinking about using that to give the fingers on the albel claw a more finished look.

Also found my gloves and figured out I can use some boots that I have for my secret Guilty Gear cosplay at Sakuracon next year.
And I'm going to be going fabric shopping on Sunday for Beach White Mage fabric.

I just need to do some more styling and then I'm completly done with Sven!!! So very happy!

Began gathering references for Lenalee's Dark Boots second activation form today- much harder than one would think. I'm probably gonna have to guess on parts, nothing I haven't done before though. I won't be able to do the new Dark Boots because they're physically impossible to create and then be able to get my feet into. >_< Curse you, Hoshino! Course YOUUUUUUU~

So instead I'll do first uniform with pigtails and second activation. I think I love the physical pain that comes with stilettos or something. I would order a second uniform but I'd never be happy with what I got because none of the people that sell on eBay make particularly accurate ones. I suppose I could edit whatever I got (I figure I'd have to anyway) but that seems like it would be so much work, too.

Ordered some new socks for my White Mage from sockdreams.com. The last socks I ordered were from a really nice lady from Taiwan but they were a wee too small for my giant Ukrainian legs. Reading the sizing chart for this website it looks like these might fit better.

I also figured out a way to to my Swimsuit Cassandra without having to sew a whole bunch. I think I'm pretty good at sewing but I'm not going to put faith in my stuff with something as revealing as that. I do not need any costume malfunctions! Anyways I'm thinking about getting a White bikini and dying it Royal Blue with some RIT dye. I'd add the trim with some bias tape and the rest...well that's the hard part. Getting a tan is hard for my white skin...

Does anyone know if RIT dye can be exposed to chlorine though, like in a pool? I don't want the silly thing bleeding everywhere if it can't.

Realized you can't dye a swimsuit, so I have to do my best to find a plain blue one that isn't ridiculously expensive. I bought my White Mage sundress fabric today though! It's a pretty easy dress so I hope I'll have it done soon.

Alright I need to do a few touch ups on Albel.

What I have done:
Got new thigh high stockings that match more to the clothes

What I need to do:
Smooth out the fingers on the claw and touch up the paint.
Look for red matalic paint that looks more like red metal.
Give the shoulder pads a cover so it isn't fabric looking and more armor looking
Repaint shoulder armor
Remake the skirt with darker color fabric
Redo the back of the belt.
Remake the armor on the shoes (?)
Find better shoes and paint them (?)

So as you can see I have a lot that I need to get done for Albel. But once it is finished that costume should look amazing. Better then it ever has.

8D I'm so happy.

After going through everything that I had saved for cosplay stuff I realized I had so much I could use for my cosplays this year. XD I got to work right away. And All of this bumped up "what I had done" list and shortened my to do list. ^_^

I also got fabric for my friends cosplay so I can get to work on that A.S.A.P. We also almost found a rowdy ruff boy for each of us. and several other characters from the series. X3

http://www.venus.com/ They have every color and style and when they have a sale it's not that baddly priced. I was thinking of getting my Refia swimsuit from there. Funny that I'm planning on doing the same thing but oppisite. White with royal blue trim for the bikkini and also wearing the blue jumper from the original costume.

Well, my pluto wig is done and complete. Going to get to work on Princess Pluto now....

@ Suite- Then we will need to take pictures together for our swimsuits being the same except for the colors swapped. I think I've figured out the one I want to get from there but the bottoms I want won't be available until the 29th. Oh well, I need to start working out if I want to even think about wearing a swimsuit around though.

Having a sick day really helps you get things done....only if your not sick enough to stay awake though. lol

I got a lot done on my yatsuha cosplay because she's the only one I have all the needed materials for. She'll probably be my first one done(yay!). I'll probably work on PPGZ next or something. :/ I want to work on meg but I have nothing for her right now except for pieces of her skirt. :<

I started and finished the shirt yesterday
I made the headband and the only things I have to do for this one is fix the wig, get shorts and jewelry.

Wig:
Cut bangs
Add pink tint
Add more curls

Get:
black shorts
black boots
Heart necklace
three orange bracelets
maybe her earrings
Dark blue thigh highs
Blue contacts

I would say that your pedobear idea is a no. I was talking to Kylite and some others at the Sakura festival about how Pedobear is not ever going to be allowed at Kumoricon.
