Feels good to be done, huh? ^_^ I am like, 98% done reworking Barret. The gun is done, I just have to finish the patches and shoulder straps on the vest...and I should be finished.

I figured it would be warm during Kumoricon, so I put some ventilation holes in the gun-arm, but even still...it's sweltering. *whew*

I'm hoping not either, I'll die in White Mage, and luckily I'm wearing Miria at night so that won't be a problem. But White Mage. Oh god, and my poor boyfriend in his Black Mage D: If I get news of it being ridiculous hot I don't think we'll be bringing them to con.

In the past years we've lucked out and it hasn't been terribly hot, so I'm hoping that's what happens this time. We're not pleasantly close to a shady park this time (I mean, like right across the street) like we have been in the past, so any cloudy days or lower temps would be much appreciated.

Alright my Kuja wig is now done. I forgot I needed to style it. I love the way it looks.

Sadly some of the hair got a little fried on the other side, but it isn't too noticeable. I can't wait to try this costume out X3

That looks great Nichole. I think you really did nail the shade, and how it is lighter at the roots and progresses down the hair. Great job. Can't wait to see the finished wig.

There's a dance between now and Kumoricon? Or do you mean the dance at Kumoricon? Either way, just be careful of the heat of a thousand sweating bodies. Wouldn't want your wig running and dripping on you.

I didn't even know about it, so no I wasn't planning on going. I haven't actually gone to any of the dances, so I don't know what I'm really missing out on (if anything). You have fun though!

I got fabric for Satoko's dress, and fabric for Red XII's shirt. I have to wait till the patterns go on sale. It was a different brand that went on sale this weekend.

Oh my, I got severely confused there for a second. But now I think I understand, Boogie = Nikki, haha. (I thought Nikki = nikkiolie for a second.)

Today I am going out to search for the things I'll need to make the bulb for my gijinka, it's gonna be a functional backpack. I am insanely excited at the prospect of having a backpack be a part of my cosplay - convenient! =D

Ha ha, you are partially correct there. See I'm Nikki but Nikkiolie is Nikki too. So everyone pretty much confuses who's talking to who when we are posting in the same thread. I've told people they can call me Nukka if they'd like to stop confusion but it hasn't seemed to catch on yet.

I always love looking at these forums and seeing how people craftily fashion their costumes. It gives you a sense of how they get those jaw-dropping outfits that you see at the con to look so fantastic. *sigh* Keep up the hard work guys~!

just so every one knows theres been a slight change in my costumes.

taking: thief rikku (FFX-2), lenne (FFX-2), queen beryl (sailor moon), princess serinity(Sailor moon), blue rhapsody (KH1), gijinka ditto (pokemon).

again no "set" days as of yet except for rikku (mock battle and photo shoot) and princess serinity (mask ball).

Just got back from Japan. But better than that, I got contacts for my Lenalee and Lavi cosplays! A pair of purple and a pair of green. Tomorrow I'll go to Joanns and get tulle, taffeta and lots of white stuff to finish Grave of Maria's dress with.
