Oh man, soooo insanely close to getting finished with that backpack and there is so much space inside! Just gotta add the straps and install Solar Beam and it'll be done!

Though, I'm unhappy about something - the glue! Some stray hot glue got on my fabric and I can't get it all off... Anyone know how to remove dried hot glue from fabric? Right now it looks like spots of white... stiff stuff... on it and it's not nice. DX

Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass 90% done (Can't find the blasted boots without heels of death or the gloves and sword, my go without.))
Saber from Fate//Stay Night 80% done (armor needs reworking badly and dress needs ironing)
Kagome from Inu Yasha (not done at all, may not do if other things can't get done soon.

In progress for boyfriend:

Zero from Code Geass maybe 90% done just need to find or make that damn mask any suggestions)
Archer (not Gilgamesh) Fate//Stay Night 70% done. Need to make Tank top and designs, boot covers, and add belts to the pants.
Inu Yasha from Inu Yasha 85% done but the wig needs some combing and I need to find another way to carry that blasted sword around

In progress for brother:
Sesshomaru from Inu Yasha 95% done just need to trim up the wig a bit

@Mei Long- Mmm, I think you are kinda stuck if you have gross spots. You could try to cover them up with another layer of fabric or just sit there picking at it if all else fails. I haven't figured out a way to fix stuff like that.

For Maiza I need the pants, jacket, vest, hat. But atleast I have the glasses and tie.
For Dean all I need is the watch.

*cough* I'm playing the cheating game and buying similar clothes that look like Shiki's and then modifying them.. I actually don't know how I'm going to pull it off completely, I have a general idea. The hoodie and boots are my biggest problems but I came up with a plan to the boots that will keep me from trying to wear some that would kill me. xD I also am going to make Mr. Mew all on my own. Anyone know where I can get cheap cotton fill for like making stuffed animals? I also need to make her necklace.. >>

As for my boyfriend's cosplay.. We have no idea how we're going to pull it off.. Neku's outfit is a tad complicated and I have no idea where to find clothes that look even relatively close. ^^;

Got my Deidara costume today! it fits perfectly [had to order a child's size because I'm tiny] So all I have to do now is get some spirit gum for my tongue and eye scope, paint the ring, get my blue contacts and I'm done.

too bad I have to re-make my artemis scythe blade, I hate reverse progress!!!!

@ Nikki- Can I give you a suggestion for the makeup? I think it would look better to the character if you used darker mascara and more eyeliner. I've never played the game, but every picture I see of Kuja, I think he's a woman. Even that picture he looks more womenly then most androgynous characters (Probably because he's wearing such an excessive amount of makeup for a man). It also might look good to use just a little bit of lip color on your lips, and if you aren't wearing any already, defiantly get some eyeshadow going since it's very prominent and obvious that he has some on his eyes.

It looks like it'd be a little more accurate to the character and your face would pop out so much if you did a little bit more, even though it strays away from the usual male makeup for crossplayers. With hair as light that with the complexion that both of you have, it's easy for a face to get lost from a lack of darkness if that makes any sense?

Not trying diss on you at all though, just thought it might be helpful~

Richie: Holly Hell! That is some serious work there. I wish you lots of luck. It will look so cool when you get it done though. I managed to finally get the tank top made for Archer for my BF. You wouldn't think it'd be so hard but well he's got a bit of a gut.

On another note the straps for his pants are seriously making me mad. I've killed a yard of black cloth trying to make them to no avail. Can anyone suggest some type of fabric that is black but will show up against black, but needs no sewing? I'm contemplating appliqueing black leather to the pants, but I HATE appliques. They never hold for me. Suggestions would be appreciated.

I think how you have the eyeliner on the bottom is perfect for your eyeshape. I agree with boogiepop that there needs to be a little bit more )since kuja is so flamboyant XD) I don't know how to describe this really, so here is a picture



The green is where the black eyeliner should be extended to (like a cat-eye eyeliner, it helps with the illusion for big anime/video game eyes) and the pink is where the orange should be. Also a nice black mascara would be good This will probably take some practice because its a hard style >__<(it took me forever to get good at haha)

And like boogiepop said, I hope this doesn't come off as rude >__<~ You look great so far, this just might be a helpful visual!

It wont take me long at all. I am quite good at putting makeup on, at least on myself. As for the mascara there is some on but it may have come off slightly, I have blond eyelashes and very thin and little amounts of them....so I will put more on but I am not saying that it will be noticeable

I managed to find one wig I can use for my Curly Brace cosplay I'm going to be doing at Kcon '10, but I'm gong to double check with my boyfriend when he gets home. If it works though I'll get $17 dollars off of a wig.

EDIT: Screw it, it's a couple shades of blond off and I don't need it for more then a year.

Mmmm, Guilty Gear is <3. I'm going to be bringing my number of Bridget cosplays to three at Mewcon this year (Default, and the two artbook versions of him).
I'm going to have my Lady Ky done for Sakuracon, I'm going to be doing it based off of this since I can do my hair like hers using my own. I even have gotten Katamaygorobi off the forums to be my Lady Sol (I had someone else but there's not much communication anymore). Hopefully she'll want to wear hers during Kumoricon as well. I'm also going back and forth on doing a Guilty Gear couple cosplay with my boyfriend at Kumoricon as well (Him as Axl, me as Lady Axl) but that will get scrapped if the person that suggested the idea of doing a Interstella 5555 group wants to do it for 2010. We'll probably do Axel's for Sakuracon '11 if it doesn't go through though.Blah, blah, blah things I'm doing next year.

On another note, I think you have a good androgynous face for Bridget. It would be AMAZING to see an actual male cosplay as him and pull it off right.

Ah, heh, that's what I'm always afraid of. I'm not 'manly' lookin' enough to ever pull off any of the other guys (sadness!) and Bridget, while totally a dude... wears... a dress-skirt-thing... and that's REALLY intimidating to think about. (yes, skirts are scary!)

Plus, I doubt anyone would actually realize I am a dude since guys rarely cosplay him, haha! *fail*

I love Guilty Gear so much though that it is very tempting... I greatly look forward to seeing your G.G cosplays! Or, rather, pictures of them. I rarely can attend Sakuracon.

Hmmm, I don't know how in shape you are but you could maybe pull off Sin from Overture. As long as a have a flat tummy and an ok looking chest (as weird as that sounds) I think you could do it. Lots of work on that though~
