I'm going to joanns and the bead store (yet again) to get more supplies. I hope I finish everything in time. Once I get more done, I think I will tell my secret cosplay. It's hard to keep it in...

@Chihiro- Your Peach looks great! I like the red that you used for the sash thing. It brings out your costume a lot.

@Sutie- It looks really good so far. I want to see bigger pictures though :B

@Huntress- That's a really lovely color. Did you get it from Cosworx?

@boogie - I got it on ebay from a shop called easyshop.  My first time trying them. The quality is great and the shipping was pretty quick.

I got some supplies for a prop for my secret cosplay. And I scored at value village. I got both the shirts I need for Rumia, so now I just have to make her skirt, find shoes, make a tie, and a hair ribbon, then I'm done with her.

*sigh* just got home from a JoAnn's trip. Dropped a little over fifty bucks for k-con cosplay stuff. Hopfully I won't need any more supplies for a while and what I have will keep me busy. Now, off to the sewing mechine!!!   ...ops, after I make dinner....

AGH.

I got my gloves for Deke. I got my new wig for said cosplay as well. I got my new Organization boots.

D: somehow my mother was signed into eBay on my computer and the stuff I needed to get there was recorded as her buy, so it wouldn't let me use the card I was using because it wasn't registered on her account. Grrrrrrrr, that's my epic perfect Deke boots and my gloves for Maria!

askldjfhkldsajfh I'll have to figure it out tomorrow.

Styrofoam might work better, since it's lighter. Cover it in glue first after shaping it and then hot glue it on and then paint =3

I *should* have restyled my Soul wig, but instead I decided to mess with my red wig of doom and made it into Daisuke's. I haven't worn the costume in two years, so I might wear him this year since I have a wig =3

If not JoAnn's, they do have them at Michael's. That's where I bought some for my Azul cannon last year.

My friend's got the Dark costume, but not the wig. She made it to go with mine for Kumori07, since I was only going a day but she couldn't come so her costume's just collecting dust.

If it isn't REALLY thick, you might be able to cut it with scissors, or a good sharp knife. You'd wanna somehow round the edges (sanding ? or melt over a flame) so you don't get cut though.

Oh my gosh it's so hot. XD *just biked to school and Joanns and back*

But! I got scuuuulpy which will; with the assistance of tinfoil, hot glue, paint, and barrets; allow me to create Bulbasaur's little ears! I don't think "saurs" had cat shaped ears but hey, it's cute, so I'm not complaining. XD And I'm incredibly amused that they look akin to the little clip things on top of the Eva pilot's heads... if they have an actual name it escapes me at this moment.

Not really progress but I went to Albertson's and they were selling Rit Dye for 25 cents on the "This needs to be gone now!" shelf.
I got two bottles of liquid yellow, one bottle of liquid wine, one bottle of cocoa brown, and five boxes of tan.

I have no idea what I'm going to do with it, but I have it!

Darn it! Why did our Albertson's have to close?!?! DX NE Salem's Albertson's closed my senior year of high school and I have never seen so many dudes all sad for the same reason - there was a small tradition of a bunch of the band guys going to Albertson's, getting chicken and jojos, then bringing it back to make the entire upstairs band room smell of the stuff (yuuuuum, I miss it) while playing video games.

But the irony of this is I bought Rit Dye as well. XD But it was at Joanns and it was 50% off, so it was about a dollar 14.

25 cents sounds awesome though!!!

Hang in there! Daunting things are amazing when they're done!

On my end, I'm really disliking basting tape. It's fun to do a cosplay that's just so out there. I have yet to make the 6" geta for the Medicine Seller. I'll need to practice walking in those before I go to the con.
I can't believe I have a secret cosplay myself ><; That's so weird. I never thought I'd do that. Not that its exciting.

I am almost done with red xiii's pants. I just need to sew the elastic in the leg, and draw the designs on the legs with fabric marker. Does he have the design on both legs? oh, and what about his arms? are they on both?
I'm also gonna expiriment with paws, so I may get yet another part of red xiii done today. I think he should be done by next week 8D

I'm thinking about throwing another cosplay to my list for con day 0.
Noodle, from the band Gorillaz, in the outfit she wears in the Feel Good Inc. and El Manana music videos.
If I don't do it for K-con though, I'll do it sometime this year. All that really needs to be done to make that costume is BUY THINGS.

Decisions, decisions though.

Buying things is good... I have to buy dark blue jeans & yellow fabric paint =3 The rest of my works don't need buyings.

I've got several projects right now involving my costumes =3
#1 Keyblade (still in wood carving/sanding phase)
#2 Finish styling Soul's wig (98% done)
#3 Get together a casual Soul
#4 Make Penguin's jacket again (red version)
#5 Finish the tiny lolita top hat (50% done)
