I'm so close to being done with the kimono, and I'm so unmotivated today. Argh.

When all this is done, I want at least a week break from an iron and an ironing board. Good god cotton wrinkles fast.

I ordered my contacts but they never e-mailed to confirm, nor did they even take any money from us 8_8
I ordered them 3 weeks ago!!!

I'm glad contacts are just an unnecessary detail [well, maybe not for me since I have brown eyes, and need blue eyes]

I wouldn't worry about contacts too much. At least they didn't take your money. That's good. Contacts are always really impressive and add a lot to cosplay, but at least to me, they're not necessary. Luckily none of us have anime eyes so largely I think eye color doesn't get noticed. That does stink :/ I'd like to have color contacts myself one of these days. If nothing else just for fun.

>x< so today I went on the little trip downtown at Pioneer Square...and about 30 minutes before I was heading home, the pants I was wearing for Roxas....ripped...right down my ass........so I now have to sew THAT....and I still need my Yuna wrap to be sewn.... I am also thinking of doing the little charm of roxas' out of clay or something instead of having the necklace charm....and...i need to remake my yuna staff....and...because i can only sew straight lines and cannot follow any sort of patterns...i'm still waiting for my tsunade cosplay....

Ick, Dose anyone know where I can find a bunch of cheap solid color shirts without any designs what so ever, I'm hoping to spend no more then 2.00 a shirt cause I need like 10, so i can use the fabirc to make my costume, mainly cause

1.) I'm short on money and a friend recomended using shirts
2.) It be easier to use a shirt base for parts of my costume...
3.) It would be a little more comfortable...

I know they sell solid color t-shirts a joanns, but I'm not sure how many colors they have/ how much they cost. I know they sell solid color t-shirts a forever 21 for like, 3-4 dollars in a huge variety of colors? But the material is pretty thin.

Knew I forgot to do something. Ordered wigs today...cosworx has always shipped super fast for me in the past, so I'm hoping they'll be here within a week (as usual) so I can do some trimming. I'll be getting a darker, longer one for Hitomi and something new finally for Merle. The pink wig I have is the first one I ever bought, and while it's still in amazing shape for a wig over 5 years old, it's always been too bright a pink and too short to be accurate. This one'll be too light I think, but I can deepen the color with a little wig dye.
Also got a new wig to style for Akane. It's picky, but I really want something a little longer and more accurate for her, since she's my favorite cosplay.

Didn't get much done sewing-wise, but I paid my dad a visit and got the car-top carrier cleaned for the trip down, so I consider that work towards the convention.

I'm cosplaying Flonne from Disgaea, which is all done, as well as Taiga from Toradora, whom I just have to finish her jacket >W<
If I have time, I'm also hoping to make Taiga's alternate white dress for the Masquerade ball

i'm almost done with my TRIDENT! as i was putting the glue cover on....a flea jumped on it and i was like o.O what?! and i realized my cat was scratching himself next to me....so i know he has fleas now... yuck. but its almost done and i'm gonna finish it today, ITS MY BIRTHDAY! YAY!

I just ordered Fray Stop, so now once I'm done with my white skirt for Maria the black top skirt will have the edge I want it to without having to overcast the entire thing. After I put the bow on the shoulder and finish that skirt I'll actually be done.

I look so much like her in it it's scarring...
The dress is pretty much done too.
Ordered the wrong wig for Botan, too short, cut the tag off too soon, Now I'm going to have to buy a new one. -_- meh.

Lucas is being worked on, but I can't seem to find pants that fit me loose enough to make me look like I don't have a butt... dammit! Why must guys be buttless! It makes crossplay difficult!
Corsola isn't any where near being finished, but I could finish it quickly if I wasn't a damn procrastinator.
Curse me.

Oh lordy, I've got a long way to go.

Yuna- Need to sew white wrap STILL, and I need to replace the yellow circle on the staff as well as the bell

XD My friend's have me keep track of not their costumes, but all the notes of what's going on with the con. Like this happens on this day, this is where we meet- all that stuff @.@ And times. I'm the official organizer of the con events for our little group- letting them know when things happen and/or are updated. Stuff like that. @.@ Makes me dizzy sometimes cause I gotta check the pages for the guests, panels and photoshoots every week at least. And I have to keep a look out for when the schedule comes out. *flop*

Anyway, I was hoping to try and mess with my keyblade some more. I found this metal wood-file thingy (basically a nail file on the large scale) and have been slowly using that on the keyblade. I can't do a lot cause I'm not strong enough so I'm bothering my friend to help when he can come over XD; If it's not done by about the 22nd at the LATEST I'm gonna say screw it and paint it probably x_X;

I have a question about fur...I don't know if I should try to paint my brown fur with red or not. So I tested it, and here are the results.

The long strip at the bottom is fur without paint. and the short peices all had a different method used on them. Which one do you guys like better? Oh, and they are all redder than in the picture. By about one shade.

It's actually not soft at all with the spray paint xD

That one was washed many times, then brushed with a bristle brush so the fur stoopd up, then lightly sprayed with spray paint 5 or 6 times xD Actually, in the end, this one was all matted. I can't brush it.

@Nyahaha- I like the middle as well.

School's been a real bummer lately, I haven't gotten to work on cosplay at all from all the homework I had. I'm hoping to get everything for my boyfriend and I's costumes done by Friday so I can start getting things done for my friends costumes.

As a side note, we are gonna make some fake eyebrows for my boyfriend to put on his face. I think we are just going to use some nice felt, would it be better to use some fashion tape or spirit gum to make it stick to his face?

I would be scared to put spirit gum anywhere near my eyebrows, but at least it would come off with the remover and hopefully save the brow. fashion tape on the other hand might be equivalent to sticking a band aid on your eyebrow and then slowly ripping it off...ouchies

Alright Kunai are drying and once they are dry they are done. I am fixing up the little issues with my Organization Jacket and the boots for Kuja and then I will set those aside. The last thing I need to do is sew one little thing on the bottom half of my Kuja costume and I am done.

Everything cosplay related is done, now all I have to do is pack for the con. All my costumes and props are finished though
