o.o I didn't think it was possible... but the alterations I made to Yuna's dress were so long and wide that they wouldn't fit onto the fabric even when it was unfolded! T.T So I had to trim a bit off of the longest pattern piece. And it takes longer to cut it all out now, because two of the pieces need to be cut out when the fabric is unfolded, thus meaning that I need to cut out a total of eight giant pieces of fabric instead of four. XD Taking a small break because the only place big enough to pin and cut out the pieces is my upstairs area... and that's all bathed in sunlight in this FREAKIN' HEAT! >.<;;

Feathers ordered too! Be done with the dress today except for the feathers, hopefully! Then all that's left is making the structure for the wings and adding the feathers.

Poor PaperSora had to be my dressform...I had to put my bra on her, stuff her and the edges around...shes 34B and I'm 42D xD So it's quite hilarious. But I'm halfway done

I need yellow pants! =< The shirt thingy/harness meg wears is actually much easier then I thought it would be. I easily made each part I just need to put them together and get a bit more pleather/vinyl. I'm supper determined to get this done. >:3

If you can't find your nails, I just bought a crap ton of fake nails if you want some of them. Seriously. I don't need an entire pack. I'll sell you half of mine for like, I dunno, $2 or something. They're just plain, though and you'd need the glue since I have only one of those. You'd need to buy nailpolish, BUT if you want, I have some black nail polish I don't use anymore if you want that, too. It takes a slow coat to get a good shade.

They come of with nail polish remover, too.

Uh it doesn't really matter I don't think anyways. You don't need a food handlers card and you can be 16 and work there. Plus since fall and winter is coming up, more people will be getting pizza so they might hire for help

I worked at Papa Murphy's for a year and it was the most excellent job I ever had. We got tips every 2 weeks, free pizzas, paid 10 cents extra when starting, and had awesome Christmas parties with a raffle (I won $50 I do believe). That was one in Central Oregon though, I'm not sure how the ones where you guys live work.

And jobs are great, I have 3 jobs so I can pay for school

The papa murphy's i work at is awesome! I've been there since Dec. 2007 and I love it. We get 50% a pizza every week, split tips, do secret santa and of course employee of the month where you get $20 cash bonus and then if you get that you can qualify for employee of the year and get $100 cash bonus. plus they're flexible with your hours too

Jamba also hires at 16~ You do need a food handler's permit, but that's only 12 dollars, and can be gotten online (with a working credit or debit card which are very easy to find at any 7-11 or Fred Meyers) or through a class.

Go online and submit an application, it'll go them all and most likely they'll have you work at one nearby your house if there is one. I know my store in Beaverton Mall isn't hiring, but there might be positions at one of the others

I'm having a though time with bills and cosplay, I always have to pay so many bills that I barely have enough left over for cosplays T_T

I hope I have enough left over to buy the costume I need for Glaceon at con, if not she might be next year D:

Dead sweet crackers I don't want to think how much I spent on my cosplay. Seriously. This hobby is so expensive. Let's just say that $80 is only a percentile of the umpteen yards I bought. Not to mention the absolutely mangled wig that needs to be replaced, the second set of fangs I bought, and the accidental purchase of six yards of the wrong color fabric.

at least I can make a dress or something out of that much fabric, but lavender doesn't look that good on me.

I really should post a pic of my wig. It's a freaking nightmare.

I need a job. Our jo-anns is hiring, but I don't know if they'd hire a 14 year old.
Then again, I freaking live in there anyways, and all of the people that work in there have known me since I was 5 (No store bought Halloween costumes, suckers) so I think they'd enjoy my company.
Then again, the sign will probably be gone in like a week anyways because pf freaking lay offs...
This, it makes me sad.

And yeah, I've freaked out on people many a time about how I have the most expensive hobby, but it's also one of the most fun. My dad always says:
"Well at least you aren't in to yachting"
And I always agree.

Oo; I know that the business needs to have a license to hire people 13-15.. Unless they're in the family.. I had a job when I was 13, 14 and 15. Lots of little random odd jobs that didn't get me much. My time's all filled now with college though x_x Woot for finaid & being pretty broke. *shrugs* I get to go to 2 cons a year, I'm happy.

I'm gonna buuuurn this keyblade, I swear. It's like filing your nails only on a huge scale and it's faaar more stubborn.

that's how I felt with my old scythe, but I made a new one. So I'm gonna take to old one outside and smash the cursed thing to pieces!

and since we're on the topic of jobs, I'm currently trying to get a job at Pizza Hut. lol. They don't need anyone ATM but my friend who works there says some girl is really unreliable, and if she continues to be..I get to take her place! YAY! sucks for her though....
if I get the job, I'm using my first pay check to buy a sewing machine..

ok, now I'm wondering how many people, after getting their cosplay's finished, have actually put their outfit on a couple of time's after, either just to figure it out, or just to feel special? I have put it one twice so far, once to see how it fit, a second time with everything just so that I know what it look's like with everything.
