I've decided to get what I can done on it between now and Sat. Then Starting Sunday, I'm taking paint to it. I'll get better wood later, now that I know what to get, and make a MUCH prettier one.

I would do that...cept I finished packing all the costumes today D: Maybe I can still figure out poses...actually, what I did is I wrote down a list of photos I want to try and take with each person I'm cosplaying and that actually help figure out poses >> But I need a pose for everyone when someone stops me and is like "LEMME TAKE YOUR PICTURE NAO D<"

I cosplay so many obscure characters, not many people say that to me D:

Though I still have a lot of poses planned for my pictures though. This year I'm more of mainstream characters. Mostly their classic character poses~

Though, I guess you wouldn't have to be in your cosplay, but I think it makes it easier, so I know if it looks good or not. But, if all else fails, just pose in front of the mirror as yourself pretending to be the char.

I'll probably just end up putting on the wigs to figure out angle which they look the best, and not bother with the whole outfit.

I ordered a new wig for Botan, the old one just wasn't listening to me. It says it takes 7- 14 days to deliver. Please let it be closer to 7, because the order takes 48 hours to process. That'll put it at the day before con, and that would suck. A lot.

I got my tabi socks done! I'm pretty proud of the little buggers :3 They didn't turn out half bad for not having a pattern at all.

That's how my Mars' Princess dress worked out, I had no pattern and just a picture.

It looks amazing~ I'm very pleased for how it came out <3

my sister wasn't too happy cause she had to be my dressform...which means she had to wear my bra and i have to stuff it xD shes a 34b and im a 42d so it was funny looking! but i have before and after pics (dunno if i posted them yet)

._. yea the only thing i'm worried about is not getting the yuna staff done in time...i mean i have one but its a piece of crap last minute prop i made from a wooden dowel, duct tape, and styrofoam xD and some pips from my dads work (yes hes a plumber lol) so i wanna make a sturdy one for this year...but my dads working on a project for the house...plus he's a procrastinator lol so im trying to keep on him but since i haven't talked to him in like the past 2 days cause i work when he gets home and when i get home he's in bed idk whats going on xD

The coloring doesn't match exactly between the top and bottom. I'll try taking some pictures with a matching tee and shorts I have soon. Then I'll ask your guys' opinions on which you think looks the best if that is alright. Thank you, guys! :3

Nyuk nyuk nyuk nyuk, my bottom white skirt is actually finished! I really finished it yesterday, but I went to bed right after because it was a horribly work-intensive project.

Today I'll cut and sew the black skirt, possibly pattern out the feather-ish design, wait for UPS to deliver my Fray Stop and then start whacking and spraying. If I finish that and get a waistband into both skirts before the end of the day I'll be done... With... My skirt?

Well bust my aft and call me a Pit drone. I'm almost done with this costume!

D: and my teeth hurt so bad from getting a rubber band put in my braces and my bands and wires tightened.

Black skirt fabric is cut, I just need to pin and sew. But I keep getting distracted by Transformers Animated and other various things I shouldn't be doing. Like sitting here and doing nothing.

I should really style my Deke wig. And pack all my essentials into easy-to-carry boxes to bring them to my dad's for my work-intensive week. AND JUST THINK! With Maria out of the way I'm home-free! Just gotta do touch-ups on Demyx's sitar.

First bit of black's on the keyblade. It should be dry enough by this afternoon to start with the white and other details. The bat still doesn't look as cool/good as I would like, but I've settled on buying another piece of wood later on and doing a whole 'nother one from scratch.

Ahem. My wig for Lavi is cut and styled, and looks rather good. Also, I sewed my bottom tier of the dress together and now all I have to do is sew both skirts together, put a stretchy waistband in, and cut the design from the bottom.

Now to FIND my stretchy stuff...

Got my friends hoodie that he wants to use for his Sandshrew cosplay. I've got it in the wash right now. I removed the hand pocket since he wants that to say white. I feel really stupid but I had to stitch up a seam that came undone when I removed it and I don't know what the hell kind of stitch to use on it. I've never sewn stretch fabric before but it looks like an overcast stitch was used on it. Does that work for that? I have no clue myself, I just did a quick zigzag on it for now so I could wash and dye the silly thing.

I still have the rest of Jack's head to do and then seal it. His tie has 2 & 3 white stripes cause during the main cutting process my friend's dad decided to try and cut off that spike >>;
