I am a Criminal Justice Major at Portland State University
I'm always looking for new friends at PSU, because nearly all of my friends are either still in highschool or are attending colleges in different parts of the country.

And this year will be my third year going to Kumoricon, and the second year that I've cosplayed.

I'm a junior at David Douglas high school.
I'm tall for my gender and age so people get confused about me a lot.
my whole family thinks I should have been born in a different era because of the way I talk, dress, and the music I listen to. I'm addicted to animated movies. especially musical ones. :3
I like and hate a lot of things. I'm a pretty open person though so you can't disgust me or excite me too easily, unless it's something I already know about.
I can't really describe the way I act unless you meet me for yourself. not to hard is it?
09 will be my best cosplay year yet I think, and my third year at kcon. hope to see you all there.

Hai hai! I'm Paprika~ ... but not really. I go by Kitty and I'll be seventeen in about two weeks. I look younger than I am. I have a shy aura around me, but eventually it fades away, once  you get to know me... well, it sort of does.
Not as into anime as I once was,  but still love some of it.
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Princess Tutu, and Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro are my current favourites. I love cute things, as well as many obscure, obscene and twisted things.

Drawing is my all-time favorite hobby. I'm getting a lot better than I once was, but I still suck. 8D;;

Video games are my ultimate addiction, though, particularly the Tales series (though I haven't played many of those yet unfortunately), any and all of the Zelda games, Pokemanz, and Rock Band (mainly for the character customization feature, actually *is shot*).

My actions and interests are so random, different and bizarre [strike]sometimes[/strike], sometimes you'll probably think I have other people living in my head. o_0;;</sup>

This is actually going to be my first convention! My friend Rodney talked me into it a couple months ago (he's somewhere on this forum, I do believe). I read or watch as much anime/manga as I used to, but I *DO* draw a lot. I'm heading over to college in a year for either Civil Engineering or comics. My favorite anime is Bleach, and I love a manga called Model.

I'm also really into Theater so if I do cosplay I'll really be wanting to get into the skits! I'll be going with a few friends. :3

Welcome to The Kumoricon Forums, Strayanimus!  There is something for everyone here.  Depending on what interests you, I can't be more specific than that.  I am one of the older members, ("age"-wise not "time on forum" wise). I started with this bunch in Eugene when they were still known as TUNAC, and attended the first KumoriCon here in Eugene.  My interest have always been watching anime.  I have just recently started comparing anime to manga.  I dabble in cosplay, but have a hard time finding old guy characters with beards.  If you live in the Eugene area, I have Anime Friday at my house every Friday at 7:00PM.  A bunch of the local College and University crowd attend.  We are just starting a new season, so it is a good time to join the fun.  If you are Portland based, then there is a HUGE bunch of people on here for you to chat with.  They will all be more than happy to include you in their many gatherings occuring all over that city.  Ditto for Seattle.  But, wherever you are, you will always have this great group of "wild & crazy, anime fanatics" to lighten up your day.  So, browse around the forums, and HAVE FUN!

My full name has 7 letters. In highschool I used to be called yellow because most of my clothes had yellow on them. I argue with people alot, even taking a side opposite to the one I believe in, if only to reinforce my own thoughts through others opinions and perspectives. I'm a very caring person, I just had someone living with me who I'd never met, and before I had a girl from work and her girlfriend living with me, all 3 of them I didn't charge rent or anything, because I enjoy helping people. I've started getting a little bit out of shape over the last couple years so I'm trying to fix that now. I've had 2 girlfriends, and I've learned alot about love from them. I love watching bleach, trigun, and ruroni kenshin. I don't watch as much anime as most people because I don't like alot of it, I only like watching the ones I can relate to or take something from that I want to have be a part of myself. I would love to take martial arts of some sort and if I could I would be a superhero. I love movies I go watch at least one every weekend at valley river center in eugene, and I'd like to make movies, anything that makes people feel/remember something important to them. Well that's quite a bit about myself, maybe more than people wanted to know haha.
