Went to Japanese. It was okay.

Went to mentored inquiry. Professor didn't show up so we all left after waiting for a half hour.

Next class is at 2 and is only like an hour and 15 minutes. Woo!

I have one more class today, and only one recitation tomorrow. YES.

Bad news is I have to walk from Withycombe to Owen in 10 minutes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Do they steal bicycles at OSU like they do down here? Forget about a bike unless you can afford to replace it often. Especially if you park it at your dorm.

Doesn't OSU have an attendance policy, that if you miss two classes your grade is knocked down one letter?

I have to request two classes for you. The first is Astronomy. Not part of my major or anything, but by far the best class I've taken.

The other is bowling! ^^

And definitely Advanced Physics! Even if you took normal Physics in high school.

I am happy that I don't have to read too much for cognitive psychology because I have to read like two chapters a week for social psych and also need to find time for Stats (it's an independent class)

I heard that WSU was in the top twenty five colleges, but then I'd become a SakuraCon addict. But, I think I heard something about in-state something or other. I should start doing my research.

oh yeah...IN STATE COLLAGES COST A LOT LESS!

This is something that I can no stress enough....they are A LOT A LOT less. (don't know the number but I believe about half the price)

Yup! To get in-state tuition you have to have parents that pay taxes in that state, and you do!

OMG. IF YOU CAN USE HER ADDRESS, YOU CAN TOTALLY GET INSTATE TUITION!!!

(which is why I could get instate tuition in Michigan. Oh Grandma)

I wouldn't recommend this as generally employers see a BS as a BS work experience and side things are what makes one stand out from other candidates.

At work there are people who do the same job but some have Physics, Electrical engineer, chemistry, chemical engineer, manufacturing engineer PHDs
I don't see the double up if just having one will get someone qualified for job. Instead of doubling up on majors, use some of your senior electives as classes that'll also count as a masters.

It's because I took it three years ago in High School (as Pre-Calc) so I thought that I would brush up on it.

I actually tutored some people on math 111 and 112 at PCC and If you can do algebra well then you can handle calculus. Those classes I thought were harder than Calc 1 because it is all weird hard to wrap your mind around uses to stuff taught in lower level math classes.

Starting calc is basics. It is something new but only simple applications. Second and third year of calc and other higher math is a different story though.

Well I could be wrong about the usefulness. Might want to talk to some potential employers or people that you know that have jobs you'd like to get when you graduate.

Talking to the School about such things won't get a very objective answer, as someone who gets paid by school has a conflict of interest.
