You should try grayish blue. That or look on C.c for advice and what people did.

According to the official art, he's got dark blue hair that lightens to light grey/white at the bottom. To get that effect on my Zexion cosplay, I bought a wight wig and sprayed it blue. Results were mixed. xP

I never used a wig for my Zexion cosplay, I used colored hairspray. Blue first, and make sure you get a light-ish blue color, and then a misting of gray/silver over the blue. I suppose you could make the gray/silver more concentrated near the top.

Well, my advice may not work so well for you, as I don't know how spray color works with wigs. >_<;

@ sugarlat .

well you've got the in-game look :

http://www.kh2.co.uk/image.php?view=com/artwork/19.png

or the offical artwork :

http://www.kh2.co.uk/image.php?view=com/artwork/39.jpg

& really they look basically the same , with his hair appearing a more grey-ish blue near the roots & then darkning to a deeper blue as the hair gets away from the roots .
i think that's what everyone was trying to say :'D .

i hope this helps & your wig goes well owo; .

Kairi's isn't that expensive. I did the KH2 opening version on a pretty limited budget. The biggest thing was really just getting the zippers...The ones I got cost me the most...

I'm going to go as Roxas again ^_^ But this time I'll have two keyblades~ *evil laughter*

Are we going to try for a photoshoot since so many of us seem to be turning up?

xD Oh wow you are adorably short. I'm like 5' 7" or something, so I'm going to dwarf you!! It will be funny though. *nod*

@danayoki: Well I did ALL of my cosplay IN AUGUST and finished like five minutes (not even) before we left. and a lot of people said mine was one of the best they'd seen. So if you can just take the time (and the money) to get all your supplies, it should be really easy to knock it out.

I agree. It just takes effort. I sewed Kairi's schoolgirl skirt by hand (no sewing machine) for SakuraCon last year. Took me a good solid month, but it came out good. I need to resew the pleats so they hold in better, but it's fine.

XD Everyone's taller than me. I'm used to it by now hehe

Yeah I'm used to being called short (even with how tall I am) because most of my good friends are those guys that are taller than 6 feet, so I'm like "YOOooo!!! How's the weather up there!!" and stuff.

I agree! You make such a cute Kairi! I don't think I can pull off her pink outfit xD I don't look that good in pink- and I have a birthmark on my leg I'd rather not show off xDDD

LOL I do that to all my friends. "Cursed tallies!" Walk insanely fast and loose me in crowds *giggle*

I'd love to try and set up some little picnic thing at the Yashiro Japanese Gardens in Olympia this summer ^^ Like in June. I'll have to go there and ask about it when I get the chance.
If I do, anyone want to be kept posted about it?

SCRRRRATCH my last post, I'm most likely going as Sora. PX
It seems like more of a challenge, and it'd be easier on my hair.
(does not desire bleached hair or itchy wigs)

EDIT : Wait...snow at K-con? Yes! YESSS!! (cannot stand glomping
sweaty people / being sweaty in general)

I use one to two ace bandages, mainly to keep them in place. Then I use a compression shirt (Which is made specifically for this purpose) over the top. I'm a 34 D, and it works fairly well for me. Now, compress shirts are quite expensive, but if you're going to be binding a lot then getting one would be a very good investment. It will save you a lot of hassle and discomfort. :3 If you do get one, I recommend getting one from www.t-kingdom.com/ which is where I got mine from.

It might be a lot easier for you to bind because you're an A. I've used the tight swim top method in the past, and it works pretty well. I would suggest it for you. :3

Hope this helped, if only a little. @_@

*lost the game* Gee thanks xD

I'll try be Roxas ^^ I don't really want to go as Kairi until I get my hair trimmed so the red-temp dye doesn't come off on my white shawl x_x It may be water-based and'll come out easy, but still.

As for the binding, I think it'll get the 17.99$ one from Underworks ^^ That one looks like really the best bet for me.

Ewwww, velcro...

I'm searching on Ebay, but they're all too...not perfect and pricey.
I'm thinking maybe some...er....stuff to make them out of.
I forgot what it's called. That stuff that hardens and is often used in cosplay.

You could probably make it some kind of cover on some boot/slippers and use a zipper down the middle?
