ya, I lived in Chehalis for about 6 years, and it does rain about every day in April, and since Seattle is further north, it's an almost definite.

You can register online until 3-7/10....it will be $45 if you register by the end of the year & $50 by the date I listed before...$60 for at door registration.

I'm so pumped for Sakuracon... It'll be my first time doing any kind of extensive prop work, and even though it's still a long ways off my dad has already started sketching out some really awesome weapon ideas for my groups Soul Eater cosplays.

He has like every tool known to man and can pretty much build anything, so I'm pretty excited. There's also a possibility of getting some of our props powder-coated since my dad has a friend who runs his own shop and has offered to do so for free. Yessssssss =]

I can tell you with 100% honesty that I have seen a person take one bite, got light headed, then was unable to eat dinner even though she was hungry lol. I will do the challenge again if I get someone to do it with me this time...I wanna race.

Was a rush lol...I can eat spicier food than anyone I have ever met, but I don't normally cram my food down so fast. Was fun & so worth it though & I would like another T-shirt if I can get one of you guys to do the challenge with me when we meetup

I think it is playing into the cards that I too will be attending Sakura-con,

The going down part doesn't scare me too much... but having eaten a can of jalapenos on a dare years ago, I would not want to risk another occurrence of GFAS (Gastrointestinal Fire *** Syndrome). I'll come and bring a case of pepto-bismol for you guys, though. (^_~)

Okay if I agree to go to this meet-up at Sakuracon I would ask one thing. Let's all put any issues we may have aside. We're going to have a good time and be happy. So I say let's do our best to let the positive vibes flow. I certainly intend to take as many pictures as I can for my blog. And that definitely includes getting some pictures of the voice actor guests of honor.

Here here. I just want to get to meet others that have the same interest as me and possibly make some more long term friends. Or some awesome con buddies so I know who to go too if I'm all alone and what not. XD

My giant van and I are planning festivities for people who can't go to Sakuracon. The event is invite only but not all the "seats" are filled yet. It's going to be REALLY CHEAP though, since money is the main reason a lot of us can't go.

I'd have to make it a two-day trip, obviously. I'm certainly not going to spend $56 on a train ride again. That was waaaaay too expensive for me. (I generally budget my total expenses for any con around $50)

Well it's official, I'm all set up for Sakuracon. I've got my registration done. And I've reserved my room at the Grand Hyatt. I know it'll cost more but its close to if not attached to the convention center. And for someone with my limited vision that's a must.

The Sheraton is actually the closest to the convention center but the Hyatt isn't much further out.
