I second bringing food with you to keep in your hotel room! My friends and I do that for cons, and it's very helpful and saves money. :3 Then again our room for S-con is about 5 blocks away sooooo.. not sure how helpful that's gonna be. XD
Cyprus, looking forward to seeing you at the con and I'm currenntly working on getting the days off from work I need. Fortunately since I'm one of my workp[lace's more reliable employees I can get what I need.

My biggest issue with Sakuracon (and it's not even an issue with the con) is the lack of 24-hour (in particular, 3am) food options. Last year I got out of a dance tired, hungry, and sore and couldn't do anything about any of those three problems until staff preservation opened three hours later. The lack of night life really kills Seattle for me. My hours of operation are 3pm to 6am, so it's not really my kind of city, but other than that it's alright.

Thanks. :>I realized after posting, the Six Arms might be 21+ only in the evening. I vaguely recall there is a sign on the door to that effect. So be sure to check that before heading there at night.Also, I believe Dragonfish is open until 2am each night now, about a block from the convention center. They have cheap items during happy hour (may not be filling enough).

Why not post in the Sak thread in the 'other conventions' section? The Sak Prog Director posts there from time to time and he'd likely know.
Because I can't manage to find what time the Opening Ceremonies are.When are they?
